Let's go thrifting at Goodwill in search of things to sell on eBay! Today I find some nice loot to flip online. If you want to make more sales on eBay then it's good to only buy items like these that have a chance of selling on eBay, Amazon FBA, or Mercari. One of my Goodwill finds is a bolo that many people walk past...would you have missed it?

I'm Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.
I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job.

Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?
A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA.
Q: Can you make a living selling online?
A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.
Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?
A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there's any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.
Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?
A: I do. All my bills are covered, I'm able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.

Hey Wick! I always love to see when there’s a new video from you. I’m gonna be frank and tell you that whenever I go to KZfaq to watch selling videos, I always go to your station first to see if you have anything uploaded. You’re so down to earth and your voice is very relaxing. I’m also watching your old content over time. Anyway, my questions to you- do you go sourcing every day? How many items do you list a day- do you have a minimum goal? And one more thing, what’s the reason you have a death pile? Is it because you just don’t feel like listing and eventually it ends up there, or is it because the items aren’t that interesting to you so you put them to the side? What I tend to do is put them to the side because I am frustrated about the description, and how to describe the item. Hey! Glad you're enjoying the videos. To answer your questions, yes I go sourcing pretty much every day except Sunday usually. I used to set goals for listing, but with editing videos and random sales happening all the time, it's hard to keep goals with listing. So now I just list whenever I get time. The biggest reason I have a death pile is because when I first started reselling I was focused on Amazon and RA. I kept buying things to sell on eBay when hitting sales, but didn't start actually listing until 2-3 years after. So I had a ton of stuff already. Never caught up lol. Now I find way more than I have time to list. I have bought out peoples eBay stores and toy collections etc. It's just built up over the past decade. I source a lot because I love hunting and don't want to miss any rummage sales etc. I try to hit every sale I can. Since I do KZfaq I need to keep hunting and listing for video content. Doing KZfaq also take time away from listing. I don't consider having a large death pile a bad thing, but more like an investment. I used to be a perfectionist listing on eBay, so I get it. Now I keep everything simple. I don't fill out all the product info etc. I just take good pictures and explain what needs to be said. It saved me to be honest lol.

I wish my Goodwills were set up like yours. I have 5 different GWs in different directions from me and they are all set up the same: Bunch of clothing racks with everything else on the top of the clothing racks. I have to walk on my tiptoes the whole time because I am only 5'3" and I don't sell clothing.

Hey Wick, do you ever post videos of the item, like that Furby, singing or stuff in your listings? I had a couple of Disney dolls that sang songs from their movies that weren't moving for a good price, then I added a short 20-30 second video of them singing and they both sold within days.

$10.49 seems to be the lowest price on shoes, are you guys going thru something similar where Goodwill has marked up their prices. Im in the Austin area by the way.

I'm pretty sure those were Aldi logo shoes, not Fila. I've recently seen them and other Aldi-branded items at, well, Aldi. Lol. ☺️

Hey wick when you list items for sale do you do best offer? just list a straight price for sale with no auction or do you post for example your price 20 but have it as a auction so it can go higher or is that a bad idea? I am assuming you dont list items like this as a straight auction with a super low start price? I have sold things but it is more things i know alot about (personal Hobbies stuff ect.) But we are cleaning up a property we have and i was thinking to list a lot of it, but never really had any luck selling random things and I think it is do to the format hence the questions above. I know it maybe easier for you as have the experience and time invested. I do have perfect feedback tracking back to when i got on the platform in 2010. But i tend to not advertise items, is that something i should consider? ANY THING YOU CAN POINT OUT TO HELP?? Great channel also you straight to the point content is proper, happy subscriber here. I usually do best offer on all my items. Some I'll do auctions on. Maybe auction something valuable, but with some damage. Or if I lot up some items because it's hard to predict what someone will pay for some things. You get way more sales doing auctions, but most items won't sell for as much as waiting it out. Auctions are a good way to get rid of inventory, but remember some things people just don't want to buy and pay shipping on. If you're selling something where there's a lot of it listed, then advertising can help, but most items if people are searching for it, then they will see your listing.
