The vanilla taste in Glenlivet was because it might be aged in oak barrel , oak barrel gives vanilla notes in whiskey and wines.

I have tried Blenders Pride,100 Pipers,Vat 69,Black Dog Gold Reserve,Black Dog Regular,Johny Walker Red Level,Sterling Reserve(B10,B7),Black & White,Ballentines,Teachers(Highland Cream),Royal Stag. I think Johnny Walker Red Label is a little different in terms of getting high.I get a bit on high after 4 pegs but for Johnny Walker,I felt a bit high after 2 pegs only! In terms of smoothness,100 Pipers & Black Dog are the best. In terms of price,Blenders Pride is very much affordable on regular basis now a days. One thing is that whatever you drink,do take it with chilled soda.It will make you feel like heaven!

Single malt blending different malt whiskies produced at the same distillery but it can be a blend of two or more malt whiskies and added malted barley. Blended is mix of more than one malt whiskies along with grain but from different distilleries.

Guys I am just a social drinker but love you videos but it will be great if you all can cover a little details about the making process, overall difference between different spirit's etc. It will bring in some knowledge elements to the video too...

Single malt mein vanilla ka essence aata hai bourbon casks use karke. Scotch ko mature karte hai used casks mein. Bourbon banta hai new cask mein. So scottish distillery usa se used bourbon casks lete hai aur banta hai single malt scotch. Other popular casks: Sherry casks and Rum casks
