Use S=r * theta(strictly in radians) to find length of arc. And perimeter of sector by 2r + S

Like the approach. I would have converted 55 to radians being 11pi/36 then multiply that by the radius to find the arc length = 132pi/36. Reduce to 11pi/3 then add 24. So 11pi/3 + 24 in terms of pi

The perimeter of a perimetral sector is: P = α x R Easy, you don't need to calculate the perimeter of the entire circle Adjusting the unit of the angle: α = 55° x π/180° = 0,96 rad. Perimeter: P = α x R = 0,96 x 12cm P = 11,52 cm Perimeter of the angular sector is: P' = 11,52 + 12x2 = 35,52 cm

Good explanation of how to find arclength sub tended by a central angle. Now, my pet peeve... Once you found the arclength = 11.52 cm... you then added twice the radius and wrote = 35.52 cm. You should've written perimeter or P = 35.52 cm. The string of equals signs ( = ... = ... = ... ) is true only when EVERYTHING is equal.

He only did that because he was talking in the video, it’s not like he’s writing a research paper.

@@ccbgaming6994 I get that, but here are a few points to counter: (1) Correct usage of the '=' is the kind of habit that should be automatic, like copying PERFECTLY the unworked-on parts of an expression from one line/step to the next. (2) There should always be a small part of your brain to watch what you're doing, to catch the mistakes -- simply copying errors, mis-reading of symbols, adding extraneous things not there, etc.-- so errors get caught right away, and not 5 step further along. (3) This is a KZfaq video the OP posted, which means that this is NOT a live broadcast, which means that he could've edited it, or even just redo it. This being a short, it's not as if he has to edit or redo a 15- or 35-min. video...

@@timeonly1401 A few points to counter? I'm not trying to start an argument here ok. I think you're looking at this with a little too much technicality. If this was without audio then sure, he should be super formal with everything he writes. But this is a video. It's fine to write the equals sign like that because he says "the overall perimeter equals..." And I think it's obvious that 11.52 does not equal 35.52 I agree with you with all of those things, but seriously, no one is gonna care about a tiny detail like that in a youtube video
