During WW2, the RAF Beaulieu Airfield in the New Forest, Hampshire had a practice target bombing range. I was find out anything about it online so I decided to go see if could find any evidence of it and document it properly.
On satellite images from the last 20 years you can still just about to make it out in what appears to be a very feint dartboard style design target. However, 1940s photos clearly show it, and in this video and blog post I present the evidence for how it was used.
