I got the power armor paint schemes for free from Creation Club a while back, and it includes an Onyx paint job for the 4 main power armor models. CC is a bit of a grey area for saying "unmodded" I suppose, but I think it still counts.

I like having the X-01 torso and legs combined with T-60 helmet and arms. The X-01 torso kind of reminds me of some of those ancient hoplite muscle armors, but the rest of the armor (especially the helmet) looks too smooth and sleek.

The "Black Devil" and tesla variant are held back more by 3 not giving them their own boneset; They look amazing in 4, once given that proper scale. T-45 is also a fine choice, particularly the Outcast or Military versions.

I like how all in game evidence points to X-01 being a pre-war prototype for the MK1 Advanced power armor and it could’ve just left it there but then a loading screen suggests it IS APA MK1. So instead of being a small stretch it is in fact a flat impossibility. So close yet so far

First X-01 took me about lv 40 to find. Now at level 14, got ambushed by some mk V Hellpower armor chumps, nearly 40 power cores, cheap 5 steel 1 aluminum something else thats cheap for full repair and still not using it.

I love how almost everyone here has a different personal favorite power armor. They all pretty much look amazing. I don't know if I could ever pick a favorite to be honest. I usually rotate through all my variants when playing Fallout 4. The newer X-02 that's been added recently looks absolutely phenomenal as well. I just love all the Enclave armors so much.

Now Adays for fallout 4 it is either the X-02 or hellfire but back in 2015 it was 100% the X-01. Or as I like to call it the advanced power armor.

Actually it does. All the fusion cores we know of are pre-war. And the isotope that allegedly fuels them has a half life of- you guessed it- just over 200 years.

I think it makes sense, honestly. PA was changed from just better armour to an absolute behemoth of a thing, almost like a vehicle in nature but with the fine control of a suit. Short uses for extra nasty encounters early on and eventually becoming a more sustainable choice later in the game also feels more engaging than simply going from no PA to PA.

Honestly, i usually outfit a couple and set them aside "in case" i need them. I usually stick with T-51 or T-60 in 4.

Ironically you can only get the Onyx paint job if you get the creation Club paint. Which clearly Noobnut did not. Not that that's a bad thing because the way I see it creation Club is like Pepsi it ain't for everyone but it's better than coca-cola.
