I'm surprised that you don't use a wet pallette when using vallejo paints.

For something this small, there's really no reason to break out the wet palette.

I was interested to see you dry brush the blue over the none blue detail. I would normally detail paint and pin was separately after doing the blue paint process. you certainly cut down the process time that way.

You didn’t seem to varnish the paint job between steps. Particularly Between the application of the Vallejo paint, and the wash. And also before putting on the decals. Was this because the project was so small or do you just not feel that the virus step was necessary?

Hi Ted: The Tamiya Royal Blue we used in the video is a gloss paint, so no clear gloss was needed before the washes or decals. On the other small parts, they were small enough to clean up the wash with a little thinner after it had dried. If it had all been flat, then a clear gloss would have been used to provide a smooth surface for both the washes and decals. Thanks for the question!

Did you Prime the model first?

For the cockpit parts, I did not prime. When I paint the exterior, I will. I figure the cockpit isn't joing to be subjected to a lot of handling so priming is less necessary. But that's not a hard and fast rule. - Aaron
