Finishing a cat sculpture using a microwave kiln!

10 күн бұрынI made this little cat sculpture vase thing and felt it was missing a piece... luckily I have a microwave, a kiln and some nice Mayco glaze to finish it off!

I used an 800W second-hand microwave, and each heating section is done at full power. I recommend heating up the kiln in 5 minute increments and always checking on it for that glow!

honestly i never even knew that there were microwave kilns... so many possibilities.... small custom tiles for earrings or pins, aaaaa ty for the video

Hi the link to the microwave kiln soesnt work but is there any you would recommend avoiding? can you suggest by name what to search for in microwave kilns? ( I love my small ceramics wheel. I tell everyone not to waste money on the amazon wheels and buy yours.)
