It has been a long journey but the Ivan Build Series is in full swing and the end is near. Poly is going up on all the walls and the inside is getting the finishing touches the bus deserved a year ago. Installing the solar panels was a great feeling because we are one step closer to getting off grid in this bus.

I’ve got that same ICECO fridge , I love it , it does well on power consumption too. You need to do two things: secure the 12V cigarette style plug, it WILL come out on you! I’m thinking about hardwiring mine to my dedicated 12v circuit. Hook up both 110 and 12v it will decide which source to draw from. Also~ calk the seams inside of the fridge with silicone… if (when) you spill something inside the fridge it won’t get into the seams . It’s easier to clean when you calk . Hope this helps

Thanks for the tip. I am going to be hard wiring the plug with a disconnect. I have had them come out before as well. Really annoying when you have to reach on behind the fridge

I am going to need to get the shop all finished for winter. So I’ll be adding concrete and adding a heater. Small road trips till next year

She is so funny. The other day she brought me the frisbee and I didn’t throw it so she brought me a second frisbee and I didn’t throw it…. I ended up with three tennis balls and two frisbees at my feet haha.

How deep are those upper cabinets? Is there a sweet spot for stability for those upper cabinets?

They are 15 inches deep. I added plywood in the ceiling before adding the cedar boards

Close as it was I would have reset the counter top with a 1/8 to 1/4 stip on the supports to raise it then reset on top it all

What you don't see in the video is just how much time and effort went into all the little tweaks necessary to make those adjustments. He put a lot of effort into getting it just right. 😊
