This is BY FAR THE BEST schoolie conversion I have seen so far! I love the rustic look of the whole conversion, and his layout is so we'll thought out. Wes Is a very talented and artistic. I'm an 81 yr old lady just looking at conversions of schoolies, vans and tiny homes, etc. for something exciting to do. Better than watching TV!

Thanks so much for the great tour Chris….love the editing work! Also thanks to all of you that have come over to my channel via Tiny Home Tours. An aspect that has weighed heavy on mind since the filming of this video, because it was shot impromptu without a lot of planning….It happens often, even with my own editing and filming of projects, that I can’t quite think of everything or everyone in the moment while the camera is pointed at me, so I wanted to add a list of people who were instrumental in helping me with my build…. First and foremost….Delilah! We started this project together and she was there every step of the way. She was my helping hand every time I needed it, without her this wouldn’t have been possible. I love you dearly and truly appreciate you! I’m so proud of the life you’re creating for yourself and I wish you best! Billy, Bryan, Meagan....solar installation Randy….cabinetry Mikey….exterior paint prep Walt….upholstery Sam….AC hookup Kyle….building supplies Billy and Arianna….metal aspects and location for build I’m sure even now I’ve forgotten some friends, thanks to you as well…you know who you are! Much Love and respect to all of you in bringing my dream to fruition.

I’ve never seen it done but I was wondering if a roof raise has been done on a short bus?! I want to stay small footprint but want the steel construction of a school bus. I’m 6’4” and lived over two years in a class c and I got a class b but I didn’t like the factory layout as it was cramped and had things I don’t need like a flushing toilet. I’d rather build out my own and live simply

As an ex-owner operator, I can honestly say, you've got way more room in your rig than I had in mine, but I had enough. I had a butane stove, plenty of cookware, and when I had time, ate the best of what was local where I was at. Made a bean soup once;soaked 'em going down the road...never been able to duplicate. Cooked seafood in the cab in Jersey on a beautiful night listening to the best jazz station in America. And also cooked while it was miserable out, inside safe and sound. A good ship...out under the stars...that's all you need...just keep that power train righteous.

Yeah, on the deck, I bet, but he'd have to build a cabinet around it. But he'd probably rather design a version that consists out of folding parts that click into place to assemble and use, and can then easily be taken apart and stored away again. (Do table saws develop balancing issues pretty quickly or can you easily avoid them?)

NC redbird Same here, the doll head is bothersome, but human skulls creep me out the most. It was interesting getting his reason for liking skulls-to protect the brain, so that made me feel a little better. I will never like a human skull as art though. I don't mind seeing them in a science room or museum for the purpose of science. I don't understand why hispanics like skulls when celebrating the dead. I want to remember loved ones in the flesh.

I too was scrolling down the comment section because I was thinking the same thing. The "alter" creeped me out and the false (little-g) god and devil head! Also when he said "we all need that" referring to burnig sage and having an (satanic) altar like that which is essentially witchcraft, I was thinking to myself "we all need JESUS because he's the ONLY one that can save our souls from Hell and the Lake of Fire!" Which is where he's going to end up (along with all the other satan worshipers and unbelievers) if he doesn't repent and ask (BIG-G) God, our Heavenly Father, for forgiveness and turn from his wicked ways. I pray for him and all the rest of the lost/sleep to wake up before it's too late. Other than the decor and spiritual vibe, the bus was pretty cool. God bless!

I LOVE THIS MAN! I love the way he thinks, his style and his creativity! This is by far the best build I have ever seen and I've been researching for years! I went from looking at big homes (Not my cup of tea) to looking at Tiny homes, RVs, Toy hauler conversions and now schoolies. I've got big dreams and wants for when I'm a empty nester . I want to downsize and be able to be self sufficient with less to maintain. I love his style, Love the layout, there is only one thing I would change (That he didn't already mention like the fridge doors going the other way ) and thats the toolbox (I'm a woman of course) my tool storage would go in the floor space. I'd go for more water storage possibly (Or some other need as it presented itself). I wish I could live this type of life now but sadly I'll have to wait a few years. Only regrets about this build is that we cant see the finished product of that wall storage hes missing and that this build isnt mine!

One of my favorites so far. Looks so natural, not just plastic.
