Today we will get our GMC Yukon fully assembled and back on the road. There is more work to be done that was not related to the accident. Maintenance like brakes, ball joints, tires, leaks, oil change and some sway bar links and bushings. This stuff should always be figured into your builds, it is very common. And of course we must include everyone's favorite game!

Ah, the kids Jiffy lube hires are learning, they make mistakes, it happens. I do have a problem when I see the same mistakes coming from dealers, they are supposed to be the "best".

As I said, I have been doing this a long time and know many of my fellow techs. In our area there is a serious shortage of qualified and experienced techs. From the ones I have talked to, at local dealers, on a "team" there is usually one or two great techs, a couple of good techs and the the "zombie" techs. Of course, the "zombies" do the bull work that no one really wants to do like engine and tranny swaps.

And the finish product is totally affordable for the common guy like me. Keep up the good job and thanks for sharing.

Nice quality job as usual. Whoever buys this Yukon is going to get something that's fully restored and serviced and done right. The extra effort that you put into your builds to do service work that would suffice for now, means that the buyer can just drive off and not have to immediately think about any scheduled service.
