Ok, but I still don't understand why and when to use the partitive, which situations it must be used and why, I don't understand, so I'll never know how and when to use it in a sentence.

Hi Thanks so much for your videos. They help so much. Can I ask about the word Kieli. It ends in one vowel. But it is treated as if it ends in two. Or am I missing something.

Why need to drop i? sometimes si, even sometimes drop i and add e, like suomi become suome, then add a -> suomea but in vesi drop si -> ve, then add ttä -> vettä

Vesi doesn't end in -e and kieli doesn't end in two vowels or a consonant. This is confusing and should've been explained :/
