So I think the normie persecution complex started as a core of the community in the 60s with the hippies and continued through the 80 with the punks and even into the 90s with the ravers. I can say, as a former raver party kid, who is now 40 with a pretty big government job, that even by the 90s most of the “norm persecution” was gone… because the normies of the 90s were the hippies of the 60s. Just like the normies of today are the ravers, goths, punks, and emo kids of the past. We just grew up.
