I love that, very nice! I hope you are gonna wait til October before you move here. It has been over 110° every day of July, and over 115° for 16 days in a row now. Dry dry dry, no rain since March 22nd. Hope you like a dry heat, Pizza oven hot! October thru May/June, it is Paradise!! Have a safe move !! 💝

I am SO glad to hear you prefer the heat gun over the torch! I have a massive, deeply ingrained fear of fire or flames. The family business was a shipyard, the backyard was the shipyard full of wood, steel, oils, e. I used to be threatened within an inch of my life about fire and what it would do. I have literally been holding off pouring because of the torch. I have all of the supplies I need to start and tomorrow is the day. I don't care if the cells open up one every hour...I'm using my heat gun. I'm so glad you made that comment! Happy packing and moving to you.

Wowza. I never would've thought to use a syringe. I have a syringe like the one u are using & I am most def gonna use it in my next pour. Also, I don't have anything w/ silicone but I do have a coconut hair oil that has Dimethicone in it & I've gotten cells in my pours from this. Love all that u do.

I really like this piece.❤ Hey, I bought some Arteza Canvas Boards. In your opinion, what's the best technique to use with them? How thin or heavy should the paint colors be, and what is the best method to thin them down? How much paint would you recommend for the canvas? I don't want the board to warp under the weight.

A couple loops of tape on the bottom of the canvas sticks it down well enough to hold it. I hope that helps my friend!

I'm a novice (15 or so paintings so far) and tried this with great results, although at one point my cheap syringe did belch too much paint in one spot. After that, i decided to get a larger, easier to use syringe. I went online and ordered - without paying too much attention - a couple of 150 ml sterile syringes. Yep, I got the ones that are designed to be used once with catheters. Ew. The good news is that they are easy to hold with one hand while using the plunger with the other, improving control over paint flow. The other cool thing is they have a catheter adapter, which narrows the opening even more, allowing for more precision injections. A happy accidental purchase.

Great to see! I want to try this technique. What size syringe did you use? …By now you have settled in PHX. Best wishes! We lived there, south of PHX from 2010-2015. What part of town are you in? We moved in on 8/4/10 when it was 110 degrees, so I know how miserable you were!

You always look like you're afraid of the torch...with the way you wave it around like the painting has already caught fire. The truth is, you have just as much chance at burning your paint from going over and over and over the painting with your heat gun. You can slow down with the torch...just remember in your mind to keep it moving...but you don't have to wave it around like mad...lol 😅
