Lockdown levels have eased for recreational travel so Liz and I explore part of the Cederberg region in the Western Cape with our new touring vehicle. The old trusty 80 series Land Cruiser 4.2TD
Join us as we explore the Cederberg from North to South and face some challenging weather along the way.

One of the few channels I actually ring the bell for. Really enjoyed the video. Was also nice to see Wuppertal again, drove that road in January. It was my first longer distance gravel driving experience. Got my license in December last year. Was a very memorable trip. Our tyre tracks were even followed by a motorcyclists who list his wife. 😵 She also drove a 70 series with BFG tyres. Luckily there where people in Wuppertal that told us about this and we even met the guy after we had lunch under a tree outside the town. When we headed back up the pass we ran into the missing wife. We then directed her in the right direction. Shame the poor guy was in such a panic when he first found us.

Thank you! That must have been quite the scare for them, just glad everything worked out as those roads can be quite tricky on a bike with the corrugations.

Thanks Grahame, I agree with you. Just difficult to balance as the drone shots and slow motion has no actual audio. Let's see what I can do in part 3
