True that she may be overrated but that does not make her bad, and besides she's on the Minerva archetype and she does that archetype proud!

Jill is definitely my favorite Tellius unit and may even be my favorite unit in the series

Man, remember when refines really were just +5 to 2 stats when being 2 spaces away from a certain weapon type? Those were the good old days. You’d never actually see that nowadays...I hope.

2 years late but I always at least allowed her to talk to Shiharam so she can _try_ to convince him. Even knowing that it won't work, I don't want her to ever beat herself up thinking about "what if I tried talking to him?" Under no circumstances do I ever make her directly fight her father though.

Save Feathers and orbs for her. Use your free Reinhardt and B!ike. Do Aether raids and do the daily Grand hero battle battles for free units. There's so many orbs In the story chapters you can get like 4K Orbs which garantes like 4 or 5 +10 Jill's (44 Jills). So yeah definitevely save Orbs since you can also summon for free. Also do the 2nd chapter of each book to get a free 5 star. Fjorm is meh but Peony and eir are good. You also get 2 brave heroes so pick your favorite but the best ones are Eliwood/Camilla and Dimitri/Edelgard. Anyways most important have fun and build your favorite units.

At the start after the tutorial you get a free 5 star hero summon. I went with the Camilla that uses a healing staff because I didn’t have any healers to start with before the summon. So I would recommend summoning the healer Camilla (Camilla: Light of Nohr) as your free 5 star summon just in case you need to heal your allies at some point when you start playing the game after the tutorial.

wind and fire are a lot more accurate than thunder while only being a few points weaker. And most of the time the few points of attack are less significant than the chance to miss with thunder. So with stronger he meant generally more useful.

I think Thunder is considered weakest because it barely have much Mt above Wind but are still nearly as heavy as Fire.

In FE10, Thunder is actually weaker than Wind (for some reason). In FE9 and FE13, Thunder > Fire > Wind in terms of mt, and vice versa in terms of hit. In FE10, it's Fire > Wind > Thunder. Sadly, Thunder is still the least accurate; its only advantages over other anima is its increased crit rate. In FE9, however, Wind is probably the worst, because in the Tellius games, Mt > Hit, hence axes being so strong. A lack of a bow (and crossbow) weakness is part of what helps Jill and Haar trivialize parts of FE10. Generally, Light is weaker than anima (but is the same as thunder in FE10), and dark is stronger than all. So, in FE10, dark > fire > wind > thunder = light

Jill's top 3 in PoR imo. I fail to see how she's not interchangeable with Marcia, who's easily the 2nd best. I'd definitely put her above Reyson and non-Titania paladins, who are the only units that could ever be compared to her.

@@ametaslave7314 marcia is definitely the second best, or even possibly the best in some circumstances, such as ltc. I could see an argument for oscar or maybe even kieran being better than jill, I dunno. I just said top 5 cuz idk.

@@jerry3115 Definitely not Kieran. He joins a chapter earlier, but he doesn't fly. His bases are better, but it's FE9. A BEXP dump solves all of Jill's issues, and being a flier means she's the best recipient of it along with Marcia. Oscar's slightly more likely because of his availability, but he doesn't stand out that much early on. He's good, but Titania exists. Oscar stacks favorably when compared to Ike or Boyd, but the gap between him and his growth unit brethren is smaller than the gap between him and Titania. By the time Oscar's super broken (Knight Ward, promotion, big maps with weak enemies), Jill and Marcia exist, and fliers are categorically better than paladins in FE9. They make more out of super-canto, effective damage is a joke, and the Knight Ward speed is overkill because Marcia and Jill have no doubling issues once trained. Jill and Marcia trivialize the game from chapter 13 onward (possibly 10 onward for Marcia) on non-maniac mode, but a lack of flight means that the paladins just can't do the same thing. I say Jill is interchangeable with Marcia because either can be a super flier with the same investment, but the choice is basically between Marcia, who joins two and a half chapters earlier, and Jill, who is a slightly better super flier post-investment because she gets axes and more Strength and Defense. Generally, the availability is more valuable, but I'd say the differences lead to higher difficulties closing the gap because Jill's higher strength stat (the caps in particular) may matter with bulky late-game enemies. Even on lower difficulties, Marcia with capped Strength can't 2HKO some enemies with a regular Javelin (would need a forge or stronger 1-2 range weapon) while Jill with capped Strength does fine with a regular Hand Axe. On Maniac Mode, this difference could be present even with forges. The difference here is 5 attack power when factoring in the weapon power difference (sometimes 6 against the plethora of beefy lance enemies), which can matter when both are doubling.

@@ametaslave7314 i believe jill is definitely better than kieran, but there could be an argument for either way. she probably edges out oscar as well, but thats very close. gotta nitpick the comment about ike and boyd though. oscar is a high A tier unit, while titania is S tier. Perhaps boyd is low/mid B tier but imo he belongs at the top of C tier, which compared to oscar, is a much bigger gap than titania and oscar. Ike is even worse than boyd because he has lower stats, swordlock, late forced promotion, etc, and ragnell is only around for like two full chapters. Ike is not likely to even be low C tier, which is far lower than Oscar's high A. sorry about writing an essay over a nitpick but moral of the story is that boyd and ike are so much worse than oscar compared to titania. I guess if you mean just earlygame then yeah you are probably right

@@jerry3115 don't worry about the essay, I have no room to talk on that front. Paladins are underwhelming relative to fliers, but foot units are very underwhelming relative to paladins. Boyd and Ike are both B-ish imo. I have nothing against calling Ike D-tier territory, but I think that may be a bit harsh. I think Ike is worse than every paladin besides maybe Geoffrey, but Boyd's axes and ability to promote before Chapter 18 (as opposed to Ike) could give him an edge over Makalov or Astrid. The best foot unit is Soren, though. I'd say Oscar and Kieran are both A (Oscar at the top and Kieran somewhere in the upper half) while the trio of Titania, Marcia, and Jill should always be in S. This may just be because of how much I value fliers, but I think the gap between Jill and Titania is a bit smaller than Jill and Oscar. This obviously only stands more with Marcia. On a tier list, the gap between Oscar and Titania is smaller than that between Oscar and Boyd, but in the early-game alone, the opposite is true. Maps are smaller, he can't just 1-2 range cheese, his ability to double/2HKO is hit or miss, and there are minor chances of death for him here and there. Boyd's performance is pretty similar. However, once Oscar hits his stride, he blows Boyd and especially Ike out of the water. This is what puts Oscar so high. Eventually, he surpasses Titania, but by then, he'll always have less to offer than the best, which is fliers. The reason why I think Jill is a full tier better is because once the main justification for Oscar's high placement (his good long-term potential) is a factor, he's outclassed by her quite a bit. His availability and competence during chapters where Jill is nonexistent is what limits it to a gap of only one tier.
