Out of all the battle themes in this game, Tearing Through Heaven is second only to Fodlan Winds as my favorite battle theme from this game. I knew once I heard the opening, I had to try it on guitar since it sounded like it'd make for such a fun riff. Unfortunately due to the key (Ab) it made it tough to make sound right since the only place to play that with beef is the 11th fret on a 7-string. I ended up doubling the line with a guitar tuned down but still kept in the range since it really grew on me and this song in the same range of my Fodlan Winds cover just didn't seem right.
A big shout out to SixteenInMono ( / @sixteeninmono ) who helped me with this mix. I've been struggling with my rhythm guitar tone and drums and we really dialed in some cool stuff with this mix that I'm excited to apply to future stuff. Let me know what you think of the overall sound because it's only gonna get heavier from here!
I know a lot of people are wondering if a Fire Emblem album is in the works, and I'll say at this point that nothing is definite. I'm covering these songs mostly because of how much fun I'm having with them and how much positive feedback I've gotten from them. If an album seems like something people want in the future and it seems like something I can make a meaningful thing out of, I'll consider it. Until we cross that bridge, there's still plenty more FE3H covers coming! Stay tuned!

Fire emblem album would make my holiday! Octopath album is amazing and is to this day one of my go to albums for studying and relaxing. Especially given that Nintendo is cracking down about their music on KZfaq, it’s harder to enjoy the glorious soundtrack of fire emblem. These covers are amazing and I would love to be able listen to all of them together in one awesome package! Keep enjoying yourself Jules and don’t feel pressured to do anything you don’t want! Just know I and many other fans would love that album ;)

If only God Shattering Star was possible to cover on this channel, that is my absolute favourite piece from FE Three Houses because it’s so unique to the game with its rich delve into Western music history. Ah yes. The Battle of Eagle and Lion starts off as the first use of this theme, and it’s probably my favorite in the game. Thank you so much for the epic mix! Edit: Maybe it wasn't the battle of Eagle and Lion. Either way, my favorite battle theme. So much frantic energy, yet all contained in a very clear flow to it that just feels *so triumphant!*

Correct. Plot points below: The game begins easy by playing a lot of "fodlan winds". Sometimes, when Sothis is concerned, "Dwelling of the ancient Gods" is thrown in for the odd chapters. The battle of eagle and lion does play the unique track "Blue Skies and Battle", which in turn can be seen as a prelude to "Between Heaven and Earth". Remire Village till Sealed Forest plays "Tearing through Heaven" becomes the main battle theme, which is replaced by "Chasing Daybreak" post timeskip. Now i wounder how Shambalah in Rock instead of Dubstep would sound like...

@@somederp8915 Huh. I'll have to make note of that. I seem to remember *very* distinctly this song playing in the first Battle of Eagle and Lion but I could also be wrong. Either way, both are excellent pieces, BS&aB being a lot more growing and epic and this one just having a lot of frantic energy right out of the gate.
