The transit in clip 2 could do with dash mounted lights as well ... the ones above the mirror were not that clear, especially to something with limited rear visibility like the truck, like the Merc Ambulance at 5:35

Not a bad ideally actually! You could go for an extra bright one on the dash like the ambulance.

Ambulances aren't allowed to exceed the speed limit by more than a certain amount

I think they were going faster than they looked, and if that particular ambulance trust has a policy on speed limits then that’s up to them. In law, emergency vehicles have an exemption which means they can go as fast as the driver deems safe.
