A fire started inside a derelict shed. Fire alarms in the nearby apartment buildings went off and residents were told to evacuate. No one was injured and the fire didn't spread. Residents got the all clear to return in less than 2 hours.
I don't know if the fire was an accident or deliberate. The arson squad was there to investigate. The building is heritage listed but it has been neglected for years and left to the elements.
