Wow, what beautiful lighting conditions I saw during this ride, I am happy that the camera was rolling! Especially at Woerden, where the sky seemed to radiate a huge blaze of fire. Enjoy!
Wauw, wat een mooie lichtomstandigheden zag ik tijdens deze rit, ik ben blij dat de camera meedraaide! Vooral bij Woerden, waar de hemel een enorme vuurgloed uitstraalt. Veel kijkplezier!

Mooie video, wel balen ik zag te laat dat het van 11 Mei 2020 was (toen Station Alexander nog niet compleet was) sinds begin Juni is het station gelukkig open en zijn de trappen (denk ook dat ze nu weg zijn) overbodig.

Bedankt voor de mooie video. Bij vertrek in Niewerkerk zag ik aan de rechtse kant, ongeveer een halve km buiten het station, een opengebroken stuk spoor en verwijderde brug. Waar ging deze lijn heen?

Dat is de route van de oorspronkelijke spoorlijn naar Rotterdam Maas.

Onze meester is nooit opgeleid om op deze route te rijden. Vandaar dat je hem daar ook niet zal zien rijden.

Wow! ~39m40s - ~41m00s Prachtige perfectie voor de NS-reclames; hier kan je geld voor vragen! ;) Sowieso, die lichtomstandigheden maakte deze opname wel tot een van de mooisten die je hebt gemaakt van al je cab-views (met name tot net voor Breukelen), imho. Het was net alsof ik naar een compleet nieuw stuk NL zat te kijken! :D

A nice ride. However, why does the Sprinter train stop at each and every station, whereas, the Intercity trains skip some of the stations? Stopping at each station consumes a lot of time, doesn't it?

I read somewhere that paperclips are wire coathanger larvae. That is why paperclips vanish and you always have a surplus of wire coathangers. When the wire coathangers crowd the closet enough they get tossed out. I bet they dumped them beside the tracks, violating laws I suppose. They then pupated and came out as that vast sea of bicycles! Yes, that's got to be it. There don't seem to be enough riders to account for all of them. But this theory WORKS! {O,o}

@@CabviewHolland Surrealism is a fun way to escape a boring or distressing reality. (And I believe he is an expat American stretching the purchasing power of his money in Mexico to live a little better in retirement. I made better plans so don't have to do that. I'd probably use Thailand for such a place of refuge. Nice people.) {^_-}

By the way, the paperclip to coat hanger conceit was, I believe, a comment by Larry Niven, one of today's great SF authors. He also wrote a humorous piece for a "fanzine", an SF published collection of stories and comments, titled "Man of Steel, Woman of Tissue" about the difficulties Superman and Lois Lane might face if they ever married. (Some things you do not want to dig into too deeply.) {^_-}
