Glad you enjoyed it :D! this is one of their funkier and more light tracks! They’re known for always having a very groovy sound though, pleaseee do check out more avatar! I will also second their other single from this upcoming album called Dance Devil Dance, if you want something heavy and cool from their previous work, I recommend Hail the Apocalypse, always a good starter song, if you want something equally fun and on the lighter end as this, maybe ‘the eagle has landed’, I also really enjoy their live performance of bloody angel at Poland rock (They’re fantastic live, amazing showmen and musicians)

Yes. I've not personally had the privilege to see them live in person, but they are amazing live! Johannes is on par with the likes of Freddie Mercury for front men. Total crowd engagement! But the down side is that for the most part, unless your watching festival footage, the quality is fan phone footage. I wish they had a touring film crew. But some is still great like Club LA Destin Florida.

Bloody Angel is the most obvious song to do next. The song and video are what hooked me onto this band. Then I saw them live and have never looked back.

This is one of their more groovy tracks and I love it. If you like a little harder rock with a similar vibe “A Secret Door” by Avatar is a good choice

I always struggled with labeling Avatar. At one point I called them "Arkham Metal", but thier website called them "groove metal". Just like this one, all their songs have that funk groove.

Avatar just chillin with their fans.)) So cute.🥰🥰🥰 It always looks like the band is going to have problems right now, but the monsters turn out to be fans.)) The video was shot near the place where this album was recorded, in the Swedish forests. This cabin can be seen at the end. They have very diverse sound, try The Great Pretender, Let it Burn, Hail the Apocalypse, Tower, New Land, Smells like a Freakshow, House of Eternal Hunt, The King Welcomes you to Avatar Country and other. You just explode if see Torn Apart.)))

This is a really good band their live performance sounds way better to me than their music videos, but their music videos are usually pretty entertaining If you're looking for some heavier stuff, I would say Hail the Apocalypse is good or Smells like a freak show. If you are looking for more like this song, I think Bloody Angel and A secret door (which has Corey Taylor doing the whistling) would be a good listen too. The in between or fun songs Statue of a King or The Eagle has landed are a lot of fun too.

I agree that this song is funky and fun. But I was not expecting this from Avatar. I am just assuming you're not familiar with them but I may very well be wrong. They are very diverse and creative but this has to be their most "pop" radio friendly song to date. If you want to go down this rabbit hole I'd suggest checking out "Going Hunting" next. But from there things can get heavier. They basically started as a death metal band and have expanded from there. Don't let that scare you if you don't like death metal. They are a self described "Metal circus" and every song and every are different and creative.
