A couple of things you could use Pyromancers and RP them as Priests that have dedicated themselves to the use of the sacred fire, they'd functionally be those that have specialized in using the holy flames to burn the enemies of the Imperium. As for the other thing I have a bit of a story here of a veteran soldier in service to Viceroy Karst a mercenary sergeant commanding one of the units in his army. "My name is Jackob Holstein, son of Markus, and the third of his six sons, my father fought for Queen Marr and our family was well rewarded, my father trained my brothers and I as soldiers, the Queen then called for an expedition, and we volunteered to establish ourselves in the Arax Archipelago as one of the founding families of the new colony removed from the intrigues of the capital. I write in this diary to keep account of this story for my five children and their descendants, the journey was fine until the great storm appeared and scattered the fleet, half were lost to the seas drowning deeps, the other half on which I, my brothers and our families were embarked wrecked on the shore of an island, it was not a good start but my Captain and the Viceroy of our new home Huron Karst rallied the survivors gathering what remained of our people and founded our new home, the humble settlement of Nos Arax which thru hard work, dedication and the wisdom of the Viceroy grew into a thriving settlement." "However to work in the settlement was not the lot of me or two of my brothers, the other three had suffered injuries in the wreck that rendered them unable to meet the high standards for military service, however I and my brothers Leofric and Kastor were still able to serve, it was not our first time in service to Viceroy Karst, we had served before under his command in the many battles against the savages back home in Queen Marr's name, due to our experience and the loss of a number of worthy officers to the seas we were given commands of our own brigades and made sergeants, I was made sergeant of a company of Mercenary Halberdiers that I had served with for five years beforehand myself a soldier for fortune paid well for my work, I whipped the lads into shape and prepared them for coming battles ahead, a number of them were young lads who had yet to see a fight but there were a number of veterans that had served in wars against the savages at home" "As I write this so far no signs of any rival civilizations, the only signs of people other then our own are outlaws and outcasts, not of polite society, bird people and lizard folk nothing so much as human other than them though everything has been a wild animal. The worst though are those damned Spiders all kinds of them in the first battle against some damned spiders the company of battle priests fell after making a reckless mistake of closing towards an enemy they thought beaten, that fight was savage and a number of the green soldiers that didn't head my words about the dangers of spiders died from their vile attacks. These deaths were preventable but the foleys of youth and having power can easily lead to reckless decisions that cost a man his life. Since then, however fights have been less harsh with fewer men dying, dozens of foes have fallen to the efforts of my lads so far and just as many to the Viceroy. A worthy man and a man I'll follow to the death, if he asks more of this grizzled veteran, I'll do what he asks and if need be, give my life." And that is the story so far of Sergeant Jakob, will he rise thru the ranks? Will he fall in battle alongside his men in a glorious last stand? Will he live to retire and enjoy the fruits of his service and a new homeland who knows, the story has only just begun and we'll see what the future brings. Once again excellent first episode and I am looking forward to see where it goes, also I hope that you are able to resolve that bug with the Dragoons without breaking the save; removing mods mid-playthrough in any game (something I know from experience) is a risky thing to do as you run the risk of breaking things it also may not be the source of the problem; whatever the case may be I wish luck fixing the issue. I'm going to watch the Elden Ring series. I actually own the game but I've been busy with other games and projects. I'm an aspiring writer myself, I wrote a larger fanfic called Empire's End which is finished and am working on its sequel I am also working on a novel of my own set in a fantasy universe of my own creation, the most I'll say about it is that its the story of an orphaned half-elf raised by a Dwarves, a Gildling a concept I came up with where orphans children of civilized folk that are adopted by Dwarves if found as survivors of battles with none of their own kind left alive to take them in, basically raised in Dwarven society with Dwarven customs. Its still in the early stages of writing and I'm not going to say anymore of it, the names of the Dwarves will be based on Norse names from the sagas and other fantasy universes, an interesting fact is that the names of the Dwarves in Tolkien's writings weren't his creation they were taken from names of Dwarves in Norse Sagas, Lord of the Rings is inspired and based on the stories and mythologies of multiple cultures in various aspects the elvish language is actually based on a dialect of Finnish that has few surviving speakers in the modern day, Gandalf is inspired by a similar figure in finish mythology but also the Norse God Odin who would actually often appear on Midgard disguised as a Grey Wanderer. So yeah good luck from one writer to another and I wish you the best.

Leaving a comment for the algorithm, but I have to say that I love the idea for this play through. When ever I play a 4x I like to go for the RP route over the min/max play style, and to have it in let play form is peak content creation. Not to mention its AoW4! I cant believe i uavent been recommended your channel until now, keep it up!

A faction I came up with for role-playing in my own game based on the Reavers were the Astral Privateers, led by Beerus the Astral Navigator. As a result of the chaos caused by the Godir and their wars, the Astral Sea has been in complete flux and disarray. This attracted the attention of these opportunistic Privateers, who travel across the astral realms in search of plunder and the sugjugation of the common people. They use their plundered wealth to amass massive fleets to dominate the realms and establish pirate coves for the sake of their economics. However, these Privateers are not entirely unified. Although they obey the summons of a single (hereby unknown) entity, almost as if an instinctual call to arms, they also compete with other Astral Privateers who seek to establish their power bases. Ive made a bunch of different "Captain" characters of this faction, from the human Beerus to rising Orcs and Toadkin leaders who seek to establish a presence in plundering the Astral Sea. Its been a ton of fun and I definitely think youd enjoy exploring such ideas too if you put your mind into it.

Notes from a overseer in a secret laboratory in Nos Arax: We have tried to make artificial life with armor and Marr's magic, but it is not enough. However one day when Huron Karst returned with a life stealing sword, I got inspired and had an idea. I would use the sword and bind it to the armor giving it life. However it will need to power the sword with violence and bloodshed. It could even command the rest of the copper golems. We will see with further experiments.

Loved your intro, it was evocatively well written and voiced very professionally! All my aow4 games I have a similar background narrative if left unsaid narrative running in the back of my mind. A bunch of elves who busted out of middle-earth who want to rule this new world and forge a Ring of their own... ha ha .... Keep up the great work and hope to watch more episodes you do!

Late here I know. But i figure that if I make a character from the start, it'll make him feel more natural as I catch up should he ever be selected to be acknowledged. Artificer Julian Ashcroft Similar to the House of Karst, the house of Ashcroft joined in the unification efforts of Queen Marr. The reward for the House's dedication was seats in areas of military campaigns, several members joining the order of the Overseers, and important for this tale, The Artificer Guild. Julian, a black haired man that stands tall like a mountain with a long beard nears the end of a long heated conversation that involves the city council, and likly members of Lord Karst's family who act while he is away on campaigns. "Look!" The exaughsted man says. "I appreciate that we have managed to scrounge up, and lay claim to many resources that have allowed us to grow in number and in arms, but there is only so much we can do at a time. We have orders for ships, orders for cannons, and orders for enchants that will empower our mage locks back to Imperial Standards. In all of that we have only had so much time to work on research into our golems and automatons. It's not just about having the right materials, we need the correct sets of runes and know how, blessed by the overseers, in order to make these works. For now these copper golems are the best we can do. They can serve as patrol and early defences agaisnt the hostile savages, bit if you want dedicated war machines that will be up to the Lord Viceroy and the Overseer Council to direct the necessary time and research."

I would love floating cities. There is such a thing in a woefully obscure game called Civilization: Beyond Earth. It's a pity the age of wonders series never incorporated something similar.

Hello, I enjoy a great story, this is a good start! I somewhat roleplay my campaigns too, I at least have a vision of what my faction is about, it just make things more interesting for me.

Is it possible to give out characters so you can let everyone play with your characters? Or do they have to re-produce them from scratch to make that happen?

I enjoyed the spider cult campaign, but 28 episodes was a lot! The current playlist is only at 5 eps, did you win this one much faster?
