Demonstrations of some speaker strobes I got recently. Thank you to Jordan Knighteth for generously sending me these devices.

I got a Spectralert Advance SPR for My Birthday and I use it to play Music and do Voice Evacuation Messages. Also those strobes make nice rhythm.

i have the system sensor alert speaker strobes around my entire school, they play the original notifier whoop tone. its also fitted with nbg-12lx’s everywhere there is also a wheelock AS that is disconnected from the system, which leads me to believe it once had wheelock AS’s

I love the new hall. They use system sensor SPSRL in my school’s auditorium building and cafeteria. I only have 2 speakers in my collection, an SPSW and a Wheelock E70-W

That Voice Evac sounds exactly like the Speaker Strobes in My School. Except they only do the Code 3/Whoop Part.

I wonder when System Sensor will release an LED L Series Speaker Strobe. The EST Ceiling Speaker strobe seems very compact and looks like the horn strobe. I love the Wheelock E and ET speaker strobes because many wattages and durability. Those EST Genesis Speaker Strobes are very common. Are you planning on getting any Simplex 4903 Speaker strobes?

Also, at 0:20 - 0:21: Why does that white circular 4-strobe fire alarm with a large speaker have a fast version of the slow rising fire alarm whoop like the one at 2:20 - 2:21 except a bit slow? And like the one at 4:50? 3:22 - 3:23: Why does that white fire alarm speak like some young male wizard or something? Idk. 5:45: Why does that fire alarm sound like some censor beep/bleep sound?

The newer l series I feel like has lower sound quality than the older advance series.

They’re the same speaker I’m pretty sure. The volume of a speaker doesn’t depend on the speaker. It depends on the wattage a speaker is tapped at

The volume of the speaker does depend mainly on the amp. But I still think the speakers on the new L series are worse than the old advance series speakers. The voice messages just seem a bit more legible on the older advances. The new L series is still somewhat legible but still not as good.

the system sensor brand are now owned by Honeywell. and things are not looking good for Honeywell. Yikes. but hey at least you got more edwards system and simplex too and also siemens.
