As a cellist, I must say, the harp is such a unique instrument. Its larger than a bass, yet has one of the most beautiful and rich sound of any instrument out there.

Absolutely LOVE this! I remember first seeing it in a physics class when we were learning about vibrations and ever since that moment I have wanted to play the harp! After years of persuading my parents (who probably thought I was joking) to let me play I am now renting a harp, have been playing for just under two years, have just done my grade 3 and am so happy to say I am finally learning this song :D Thank you for this wonderful video and just wanted to let you know you have been a huge inspiration for me and I'm sure for many others too. :)

I wish my school had a harp. I was originally gonna play one, but they didn't have one so I chose the viola. The viola is still a great instrument, but I love love love the harp.

I've been playing harp for about 3 years now and before I even thought of doing harp, I saw your video and I thought, wow, that is such an amazing arrangement! Owl City is one of my favorite artists of all time (especially since he's from Minnesota, that's where I'm from :D) and I thought that someday I would love to play something like this. Never apologize for not using sheet music just because you 'play by ear' as this is truly skill inherent talent to do so as many cannot...I play the piano by ear to create my own music but it can be a 'pickle' to do as you have to memorize them...so I record them to keep a record and also helps out in case I forget the segments...
