Goidelic includes Irish Gaelic, Scots Gaelic and Manx Brythonic includes Welsh, Cornish and Breton. The two branches share a common language route but are not interchangeable. I, as a Welsh speaker, would not be able to understand Irish Gaelic.

Well the most important thing about any song is the rhythm rather than the actual lyrics.

I can speak fluent Welsh, but that's thought to make out, I can only make out this "Hoffi hwn a hon, yn sylw ac yn llon" and then it gets hard to understand
