I am a professional housekeeper, try Allen’s double strength cleaning vinegar. No streaks, will smell like a French fry truck for a bit but you will be amazed!

I do night cleaning and my manager had suggested to me to do at home was if scrubbing wasn’t working first, use some warm or hot to touch soapy water to remove marks. Then clean with vinegar and paper towel.

Beautiful fireplace. I did not realize how backed up everything was till I had to get my car repaired. 4+ months to get parts and labor done. So glad everything is coming in for you. Your home is beautiful. Enjoy it in good health. No more rupturing anything. OMG the fossil is awesome. They are fascinating.

Its looking so gorgeous! My fiance's family works on cars and always uses the "Sprayway glass cleaner" and it leaves no streaks, so they're always using it on windshields! That might work on your doors :)

your home looks amazing!! i especially love the fish fossil art piece! pro tip for cleaning windows in your home or car: wash window with a clean cloth soaked in warm soapy water and squeegee the soapy water off. this should give you a smudge-free clean window.

Straight isopropyl alcohol...spray it on your windows and use a microfiber towel to dry. I work for a janitorial company and that's what we use. LOVE your house...can't wait to see the final reveal!

I love the house and the fireplace!! Try a squeegee style cleaning brush on the windows. It may not leave the swish strokes you see. Orchids are my favorite! Wish they lasted for me 😅.

Hey thanks!!! Orchids are so easy to care for… especially Phalaenopsis. Just put a few ice cubes in the pot every week and out of full on direct sun and it will rebloom. 😄

@@ThePotterCollector you are absolutely welcome! How much longer will you be in your brace? I don't recall hearing how long you're healing was going to be. My daughter had to have knee surgery for both knees because her kneecaps were completely unstable so she's still in physical therapy. For her she won't be done for months yet and this all began June last year when her kneecap slipped. It's been intense!

Peter for the windows you need White Vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray it on the Windows and get a telescoping Window squeegee with the rubber edge to wipe off the vinegar Then do the final shine with newspapers ! Wear latex free gloves.

For my windows I use. karcher window vac. Its the BEST thing for cleaning windows inside and it takes a couple minutes per window and no need to scrub and rub as it vacuums the moisture off.

I’ve seen people using car wax/polish on glass, after cleaning, and water beads up, especially used for showers that get build up most often. Maybe look into car window cleaners that have that attribute. House looks so good, definitely giving gallery! I was talking to my husband about how funny/interesting it is that our interests align, and they aren’t related- like HP and Dinosaurs and natural history and fossils! Love the specimens that you have, and that French cleat is almost magic, right? I’ve used them a few times for hanging my heavy art.

It's so interesting how different people's taste can be as I personally would never be able to stand all white walls and appliances as I'm more into the natural wood look, but it suits you perfectly. The fireplace does look really great though and I'm happy to here you are recovering from surgery well.

My best friend just had a kitchen remodel and it's very arts and crafts looking, kind of 1940s. I think I'd go that way. Maybe with a retro pink stove!

Yeah I can't stand white cabinets or Walls. Maby it's because I grew up on a farm, and I have Kids. White just gets dirty. Only thing that is every white and clean in a farm, is the Milk Room. I also laugh at city people who claim to do "farm house kitchen" and it's all white. I'm like I've never seen a farm kitchen in white. Wood Yes. My Dad has a real Farm Kitchen. He has Wood cabinet from 1940. Somehow, never painted. There worth over $80,000. My Dad's whole house is worth more in Wood, then house. Solid oak beams and 2x4s.

Best thing for cleaning glass is Sprayway 707 and newsprint paper. I used to work in a frame shop and that's what we used.

Use dry newspaper to clean and shine your windows, it will get rid of the streaks and the ink on the paper will give the glass a nice shine. Just use normal water and a bit of vinegar to clean the windows, dry them as normal and then the newspaper to finish them off
