This was a extremely helpful, informative and insightful video about injectors, building them and why you get what you pay for. Some people called it champagne taste other's call it good quality, lifetime product 👌. I bought injectors from exergy back in 2015 and they are still running like the day I bought them. Quality over price everyday of the week

Exergy is a great brand by far only two brands I'd used is them or s&s but most likely Id go with exergy starting out but that's if I could even afford a vehicle right now

So basically if you need to replace your stock injectors due to a failure but you don't have the cash for a real full upgrade in size then you might as well get the sportsman's rather than the stock oem injectors... ❤️❤️❤️

Injectors recommended for a 5 speed 12 valve. Just want little more throttle response without getting to Smokey

I get how we all like big horsepower numbers. The price difference of 30% over to 250% over is almost insignificant at approximately $1k if you add up all your modifications on your truck. How does injector size an pulse width affect fuel mileage as a daily driver & tow machine? I would gladly pay for the most expensive Exergy injectors if it saves at the fuel pump.

Awesome video. Say if a fella was to call you Lavon and order injectors and mint tunes for my 05 is some kind of package deal you guys offer??
@michaelchristopher94443 жыл бұрын
you just sold me. i need a new set of injectors and im debating a few companies. i made the mistake of reading a popular diesel forum. and the guys on there seem like they only throw one brand of injectors in the truck and any other guy that puts a different brand they bash and tell them that its only a matter of time before they start melting pistons lol . injectors are just so expensive i dont want to make the mistake of buying the wrong brand.

So basically I'm a back yard tuner with some machinist skills and tools. I am building my 04 for ranch towing hauling and weekend play looking for anything over 600 rwhp. What do I need to achieve this. I am sure the stock block and most parts will support this I would put valve springs rockers and a turbo on. Plus airbox swap out. Have a mbrp 5" exhaust non cat. 04. Early. So what tunes is this achievable with stock injectors. I'm planning to pull them and do some custom machining on them. Plan to use a airplane engine for referanceon spray pattern exc this a not so perfect plan but non the less fun. Suggestions please. 😀

So with a 12 mm pump 100hp injectors for a 480/464 would make how much hp?

Awesome info. How does the 50 hp injector pair up with the stock turbo and cp3? I tow heavy and I’m looking to add a few ponies. Only mods I have now are s&b cold air intake and a smarty jr on tow. I had my tranny rebuilt with hd internals but I wish I had found you guys when I had it rebuilt. My rig is an ‘06 2500 5.9. Thanks for all the great videos and great content. Keep up the superb workmanship!

I have an 03 Cummins that I tow heavy with six speed it seems like all these tuner packages and all these improvements are for high horsepower high RPMs It would be really nice to see a tuner package come out that maxes HP and TQ under 2500-2700 RPM
