Good to see the processor in action again 😊 Can't wait to see what your new machine will be. I'm guessing your time for the challenge will be 22 minutes 🤞 Sorry to hear about your mother's accident, I hope she is doing as well as possible

Yeah I’m pretty excited about the new machine. Yeah I’m shooting for around that time. Mom is doing well. Still healing. But in good spirits

Oh boy. When I go full time with firewood. Not that I’m not now. I just mean that’s all I will Be doing. Then for sure I could use the help.

Well that was a mess eh !!!LOL It seems you need 3 sets of knives...4 6 and 8 and separate logs to work properly for each of them ....cut down or even eliminate any re splitting ! Hopefully your new machine will have 3 sets of wedges ! And an 8 way that won't Move !! 😊 Exactly on your time estimate...20 to 30 minutes for a cord ! I'd say 23 minutes without any re splitting !!

Yes definitely was a mess of a day. I do have the 3 sets now. 4/6/8. The 6 moves just like the 8way. But I’m going to remedy that for the fastest cord. If I have it where it won’t move I will fly. And the new machine I think will be a huge improvement for me. I think it will fix any issues I currently have and won’t have to sort any logs of any size. Time will tell. And I think your time is what I’m shooting for.

Sorry to hear about your mother. I hope she is doing better. I have a question that might be a little dumb. Is there anyway to wedge a block of wood into the mechanism that holds the wedge? Either between the frame or the ground to keep the wedge from rising.? You and yours have a wonderful day.

I’ve thought about that. If I had a permanent location for it I would set concrete footing and cable it down.

Whats the relative humidity inside your kiln when the wood dry? Just wondering what to shoot for
@TreestofirewoodАй бұрын
It really depends on what the temp inside is as well. But I shoot for around 10%_15%. You will know when you get past the curve because the temp will start to continue to rise and humidity lowers.

Hmm...Brute Force just finished up a 24-24, that i believe are really geared towards tree service type wood. Could that be yours?

No not mine. Those are nice. But I don’t think I need one that big. Mine I think should be done soon.
