Hi everyone. We had to find another rainy day project due to the recent weather. We've been putting this little repair off for a while but it felt like the right time to get it done! The Bluetti AC180 portable power station continues to amaze us.... we are really enjoying this unit!

Hey just a heads up that I don’t think that’s the intended use of the power lifting feature. Power lifting increases usable watts to 2700w continuous but it lowers voltage to be able to do it, which ac motors like your chop saw aren’t a fan of. Power lifting is intended for resistive loads like a hair dryer or toaster or space heater. However, the AC180 should be able to handle the peaks of the chop saw, as the inverter is rated for 1800 watts continuous but 2700 watts peak just as it is.

Good information, thanks! It seemed to handle it okay but good to know!

Yeah I could see it running without trouble with power lifting on. It’s probably not that bad, it’ll just increase the heat produced in the motor from the extra current required to maintain the same power level at a lower voltage, theoretically reducing tool life. But like I said the saw should work just fine with power lifting off.
