I love how 5 minutes in, they've already heard back from scientists around the globe. If it was me, it would take me at least 5 minutes just to draft the email, let alone give the receiving scientists enough time to physically point their receivers at the new target and digest the data and then contact me back..

They also organised Hubble to be turned and focused on a near earth object in around 6 minutes. . Very impressive and a massive fluke that it was on the same side of the planet.... Sadly all fiction tho, as there is no way Hubble would be capable of focusing on anything big or small near earth orbit.

The universe is sometimes too hard to comprehend the distances required for interstellar travel. This alone tells me that the chance of us ever encountering another race is basically impossible. If you looked at our galaxy from another there is nothing to show anyone we are here, no signatures or come find me beacons, just weak radio waves flying off into nothing. Life is just too rare and spread apart I don't think we'll ever know unless we get to explore the cosmos when we die.

I kind of like this scenario better... The advanced aliens slip right through all of Earth's defenses without detection. Their destination: An airshow in Mexico. They hover way off in the distance while hundreds of citizen spectators watch all the airplanes conducting aero stunts. Many of these people have modern cameras... and while reviewing their recorded footage, start noticing some strange craft, way off in the distance. While nobody can quite explain what they are, some of this footage gets leaked onto KZfaq. Meanwhile, the people from another planet are sitting back in their space relaxation chairs. The kids take some excitement as these ancient craft do things that their advanced craft wouldn't even give motion sickness over and the adults snack on space popcorn... and record the show for... observational reasons to justify that Earth is no threat at all. After the show, the aliens go home in peace, the powers of the nations remain clueless and the citizens, despite sharing their footage, get the usual responses. No wars break out. No sci-fi movie plots occur. Life goes on. And... Will Smith never gets the chance to say to an alien, "Welcome to Earth." 😂

I personally think, looking at our own history and our trajectory now, I think the aliens most likely to want to visit us would be ones that are friendly, or at least curious and relatively non-destructive. Aliens that are destructive by nature would likely wipe themselves out before ever getting advanced enough to travel extreme distances, and aliens that have a more neutral or passive demeanor would be less likely to wipe themselves out, meaning most space traveling aliens would be the curious and amicable type, or at least by the time they reach us they would have learned that destruction and conquest is bad.

The ants spend a few days reacting to and deciphering these gigantic creatures as they dominate the skies, and the ants use their pheromones to communicate and inquire about the intentions of their unexpected visitors. However, the aliens' scents are utterly incomprehensible to the ants. Johny accidentally steps on a small mound of ants, completely unaware of the panic and cries for help signaled through their pheromones. Johny is almost done mowing the lawn.

Historically, when it comes to ETs, governments have not really been transparent. I think a different scenario is equally possible - different governments courting the incomig ETs with different agendas. The first government to succeed in getting them to agree to a collab will probably come out ahead in one way or another on the world stage: a new economic power, an undisputed political power that rules in the entire world, or some other global influencer. But knowing how world leaders and ETs are, I wouldn't put it past the sentient beings from outer space to double cross any politician or military officer.

Any hostile alien 'force' would be 'interrupted' by those who are studying us. If you actually think we are not visited on a regular basis, then you don't even see the nose on your face. We have shown that we are completely capable of destroying ourselves w/o any help. We are more entertainment than 'resource'. A perfect example of what NOT to do. We probably are nothing more than a classroom assignment. That would explain why sightings have really picked up lately since we are in our final throes.

We can easily send a signal deep into space, its much harder to get a signal from the bottom of the ocean. We can see things in space from Billion years ago, and we can see anything coming towards earth from lightyears away. We barely know whats in the Mariana Trench. So.. it makes perfect sense how long it would take to figure something out in space vs the ocean.

I love watching your shows. So I hate to mention this, but at 2:11 you've made a little mistake. The Hubble Telescope does NOT maneuver using thrusters, as the exhaust would contaminate the highly reflective mirrors eventually rendering them useless. What it does use is gyroscopes. They are mounted on different axises so speeding one up or slowing it down will rotate the telescope around that particular axis. No exhaust, no contamination. No flying a window cleaner up every six months or so to clean the mirrors!

The initial press briefing should portray to the world that its actually a massive positive situation, even admitting world leaders have actually been in contact for all these years, apologise, but admit they needed to 100% confirm our safety and the situation is actually in our favour, ie, they can assist with our knowledge growth, but also put us at ease, by admitting that certain leaders of our own havnt always had the masses interest in mind as their 1st priority. Now can assure the equality, respect, etc , then thrive & learn from our past mistakes... They can teach us to grow and mature as a species. Obviously they're far superior & advanced than us feeble humans... We should be grateful. I reckon that would be a great outcome... Peaceful, positivity finally... ❤❤❤😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉
