Saving the crew of Apollo 13 is probably the craziest achievement we've ever had in space because this time we didn't just excel intellectually as a species, we did it socially too coming together to save our own kind whether or not you had a direct or indirect hand in the situation, you celebrated it, etc.

Re: "Why No Weapons in Space": A thermonuclear weapon with a large yield could be detonated miles above a country, producing a nasty EMP that would knock out all that country's electrical grid. That by itself would be a devastating blow to that country, but would not harm anything in it with blast and radiation.

I was in a similar situation as yourself. You arent learning what you need to. Unless you study the math & science & english Even if you graduate HS, youre going to have a very difficult life ahead of you. I became a welder and I had to relearn all kinds of math in order to do my job well. Believe me when I say that plenty of these workers that struggle with math & such do not do well in any industry. Theyre always the first ones laid off, etc. Thats their ability to keep a roof over their head & food in their belly gone. Little facts wont fix that but The interest this video has given you will help you if you allow it to give you the drive to learn more.

For the uber rich to go to mars to live. An entire infrastructure would need to be in place. They arnt going to build and make things livable there. The 1st people on mars will be engineers and builders. Even if the buildings are ready made. The only way to destroy an asteroid with a nuke would be to drill to the core or center of the asteroid (not a comet) and detonate the nuke in the center of the asteroid to split the asteroid, a surface explosion would not affect an asteroid at all and would be like punching a brick wall

I can tell after watching many infographics shows and seeing content and presentation of such there's alot of good-willed ppl at infographics with a ton of gathered knowledge about the world space and things within this plane of existence we call life. Bravo guys, bravo. Good people great content. I can tell there's a good handful of realist as well, that will give the hard truth even if it's difficult to stomach. To that I say, "keep on keepin' on" :D

What if we had something attach to the asteroid that dug a certain amount of feet into the asteroid in order to secure itself and the base at the top was magnetic. And we sent a seperate. Machine into space with the goal of attracting the magnetic part of first tool on asteroid and pull the asteroid in what ever direction we needed in order to change the direction of asteroid.

I don't think a magnet would work very well but maybe that same idea but instead of magnet send up a special rocket stage specifically made to change the course of the asteroid

Perhaps a gravity tractor beam if you will, a body w sufficient mass is parked close to the asteroid creating an attraction that would divert the course of said asteroid? 🤔

@UnitSe7en 2 жыл бұрын
@@user-qs6lh2vd6x Yes. Imagine a sinewave. It's a 2d line. Now move that into a 3d space and wrap it in a circle so one end meets the other. The shape will become a hexagon. There are videos here on YT you might be able to find which will visualize it for you.

What if we had a straw 1 mile in diameter. And was extended many miles upward into space? Would the vacuum of space start to pull out our atmosphere like opening a emergency door on a space station? 🤔 Should make a video about that. 😁

@@love2fight205 idk man. I was thinking about the spontaneous rise of a fluid through a capillary tube, where rise and tube width are inversely proportional to each other. But yes, even though atmosphere is a fluid, it does not have a surface tension, so no possibility of any rise. Also one must note that a fluid never overflows spontaneously through a capillary.
