Well, I moved camping spots because my 'spider senses' were tingling and I decided to go where I had cell service and there were other people. Experience has taught me to always trust my instincts. I had a lovely evening and a great sleep. I am looking forward to the next trip out and being able to stay for more than one night.
Here are some of my favourite things I use practically every day in my tiny house on wheels:
This little ceiling fan has been amazing at cooling us off at night during the hot summers. Mengnessly USB powered Small Ceiling Fan: amzn.to/4dL4VOJ
Sun lamp for those grey winter days on the island Verilux HappyLight Lumi Plus - UV-Free LED Bright White Light Therapy Lamp: amzn.to/3SNj0mt
I don’t use this every day but have several in the house and in the van. Fiberglass Fire Blanket for Emergency Survival, Flame Retardant Protection and Heat Insulation 2-pack (: amzn.to/3WMOqLa
If you have pets that shed, this is a life saver! ACE2ACE Pet Hair Remover Roller: amzn.to/3hgxJXM
Best can opener you will ever use! ZYLISS Lock N' Lift Can Opener with Lid Lifter Magnet:amzn.to/4dGgbvM
This water filter is amazing! ZeroWater 7 Cup Water Filter Jug: amzn.to/3Azy0y0
I use my IP every single week! Instant Pot Duo Plus 6 Quart 9-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker:amzn.to/3YQ00Yi
Steamer Basket for the Instant Pot: amzn.to/3M9n2So
I use these to listen to guided meditations as I drift off to sleep. Sleep Headphones Wireless, Perytong Bluetooth Sports Headband: amzn.to/3SMZTJx
Some of my favourite cookbooks:
Fuss-Free Vegan: 101 Everyday Comfort Food Favourites: amzn.to/4cnNeDF
Vegan 100: Over 100 Incredible Recipes from Avant-Garde Vegan: amzn.to/471znlD
Forks Over Knives: The Plant-Based Way to Health: amzn.to/4dm1TAE

I would have moved as well, no time for that nonsense! My favorite part of camping is getting a fire going and having coffee at the fire pit before anyone else wakes up. I just left my job on Friday as a 1st grade para and I am looking forward to my next adventure. Campfire coffees are in my future ahhhh. Glad you enjoyed yourself!

That clip of you lying in bed and reading was so cute. You looked like a little girl in a storybook or something. Just made me smile. On a related note, you're adorable in a hat. I don't know if I've ever seen that before, but I like your red ballcap. It looks right at home on your head.🙂 And I like that, like me, you follow/trust your instincts and any "this just isn't right" feelings. I'm glad you had a good sleep, I know your mind must've been more at ease at the second camping spot, for you to go through the hassle/time of packing up and moving down the road and do it all over again, but some things - comfort, security, peace of mind, etc. - are worth a bit of shuffling and labor.. Look out for #1. I like that bear and two climbing cubs carving(?) thingie. Very cute. Stay safe, Adelina. Always. ❤

So true, Adelina, always trust your gut. I think I mentioned this - I have travelled on every habitable continent with Habitat for Humanity and Africa twice - yes I do construction - and traveling on my own before and after the build -. Always trust your gut! I only had one situation that made me uncomfortable (because I am an American woman) and I changed locations right away. The second location looked great -. I can have solitude while others are at a distance but still near enough if there is a problem!

I love your channel. I moved into my 2021 High Roof Ram Promaster 159 in March of this year. I'm full-time. I don't travel though. At sunset I park on a friend's property and pull out every morning at 7:00 am. My cat lives with me in the van. I am 60 and retired. I spend time with my grandbabies. They're local. I tutor my autistic nephew. I live in SoCal. I have no fridge, no stove, no sink. I don't feel a need for them yet. I have a Trelino toilet and annual passes to all my local beaches and parks. Because of your channel I was able to install my own power port through the side of my van. Thank you for that how-to video. I charge my Jackery 3000 at my daughter's house while teaching my grandaughter how to read. I plan on doing a van tour video when I'm done decorating it. I'll tag you if you'd like. Thank you again.

Get another chair, an old pair of used (from the thrift store) mens boots, sneakers or mens’ sandals and a couple of half full glasses to put on a table between the chairs and a narly looking old men’s hat to give the impression of a man’s presence. And if you haven’t yet and can, a couple of automatic lights for the outside. Also a couple of cans of bear spray so you can have them accessible around you all the time.

I love my hot water bottle. I reuse the water. Boil it again for the next night. Once I get home I dump it out and fill it one more time and throw in an effident to clean it for the next time around. I also use the effident for my water jugs to make sure they are clean. I'm city camping this weekend. I went to the races and had so much fun. The first time it didn't get rained out since it opened back in April. Ugh! But I'm hoping to go again next weekend. So I was supposed to head home and my truck won't start. I carry a jump pack for this very reason and it still wouldn't start. I've had everything texted at our local auto parts store so the alternator, starter and battery are all good so what could it be? So I talked to my ex (still friends) who's a mechanic and he thinks maybe it's the solenoid. So I'll check that out tomorrow morning. I'm so glad I didn't go out in the woods to camp bcuz I'd be stuck out there by myself and have to walk to find someone. Not the best idea when there's animals. 🐻🐺 But I'm still having a good time and I'm not going let this stress me out bcuz why? Stressing does no good and I am in the city so I'll get it figured out. I've got myself a truck camper and I just love it. I am a boonedocker usually but this is my first weekend I've been out in it this year and thought I'd enjoy my time in the city. Then do a bit of grocery shopping before I head home. I don't worry about camping alone. Never have. Anyone wants to break in with not leave uninjured. I have my step stool leaning up against the door and it'd hit em in the head as soon as the door come open. 😂 I also have a mini bat that I use if need be but haven't had to use it yet. Hugs and loves sent from NE Minnesota ❤️

i camp in DOC (dept of conservation) wild sites in Aotearoa/NZ with a friend. We were set up (with our tents) in a beautiful wild bush site one time when, in the middle of the night, we heard a couple of bikes come into the site and cruise around. We were the only campers there (two women). It was very creepy so we got into our cars, leaving our tents there, and headed out to 'civilisation' an hour or so away. We didnt know what to expect when we went back to get our tents, but fortunately they were still intact. So in future we wont leave it too late in the camping season to set up our tents.

This day and time especially, there's fraks on every corner and you can't always look at a person and tell what kind of person they are. They say Jeffrey Dahmer was one of the most "respectful" people out in public, that you could ever meet...scary I am glad that you are okay and that you had a good time. Take care Adelina and I hope that you have a great week 🥰 I dk if you are allowed "pew-pews" in Canada, or tasers... but wasp spray, it shoots far and a ball bat would come in handy, got to protect yourself 😊

What is make & size of your fridge? Where did you get it? It looks narrow and that is what I need. Thank you.

adelina, if I (a man you've never met) recognized you while out camping, how would you have me acknowledge that i "know" you or that I am a subscriber?

Hello. Well if it's a public place where there are other people then a friendly hi! I watch your videos. That actually happened to me today in town and I don't mind that at all 😊. However, if that happened while I was by myself, say camping, then it would make me uncomfortable to be honest. It sucks to have to say that but that's just the way things are unfortunately. Think of how you'd want someone to approach your daughter. 😊.

You should always listen to the little voice in your head. When I don't listen I'm sorry in the end. Last time I saw you. You said you couldn't be friends with anyone who doesn't like onions. Well I must be one of your best friends, because I put onions on most everything.😊🧅😋
