Same here. Goosebumps. I’m blown away. This is my favorite song. Saw Metheny when I was in college. I remember the band entering the hall from the back entrance playing Forward March. The video is fantastic. Great playing , beautiful scenes. God bless you.

Lyle Mays would be very proud and honored! 👏🏼 This is the best and most musically accomplished “First Circle" cover version that I know of. Also better that some of Pat Metheny's more recent "First Circle" recordings. Congrats Michele!

Better late than never that this showed up in my video feed! Yes, this is the best tribute paid to this PMG cut. If I played jazz piano, I would be reduced to nothing at the thought of tackling Lyle's solo here, but this genleman paid his dues and then some!! Anyone who covers this piece with its difficult time signature proves themselves as musicians, as you all have done. I will gladly buy your album, if only to help pay for the band's airfare to the exotic locales. 😅😅😅 All the best.

Wow. This is a breathtaking performance to say the least. Bravo 👏. This version is right in line with Pat's performance back in 2003 at the North Sea Jazz Festival with the Metropole Orchestra. First Circle is one of my favorite songs of all time.

Estou pasma ! Sempre ouvi Pat Matheny desde a criação do grupo ! Na época poucos o conheciam muito menos o grupo. Ele e o grupo fazendo uma turnê pela América do Sul teve muitos aprendizados musicais com nosso tipo de música. Após a turnê passou a frequentar o Rio de Janeiro 🇧🇷 dando pequenos espetáculos e cheguei a conhecê-lo pessoalmente! Já era um espetáculo o seu ser e o sorriso marcante!
