Owning a house in Spain since last year. couple of days ago a female Galgo just slipped in after we opened the gate to drive in. We only noticed after we got out of the car. Think we gonna keep her. She is just such a black beauty

Are you sure he is a pure Galgo ? I have a rescued coursing Greyhound from Ireland and he looks like a Mix between them...sadly in Spain they buy loads of Greyhounds from Ireland to breed them with Galgos for more speed..their Storys are very sad also....a beautiful Dog enjoy !

Nice vid. I am from Spain, and Here we're needing as a urge to develop a law that protect animals like these from the owners who have dogs as a tool. A simple mandatory chip for everyone, chasers, and particular owners in order to know where and how is the dog. There's a law against that, but owners are free to release in the wild without been seen. Chasers use to dispose the old ones or the injuried ones and replace them with joungers. Yes yes, they said they love animals and they aren't all the same, but the reality is that you are travelling and see a lot of dogs used to chase, roaming by the ditch. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of people who cares about animals, but the disrespect showed for a few, hurts.

And -0- interaction or affection to the new owners just gobbling down food. Not a particularly flattering view of adopting a dog. Only an ungrateful one.
