Unbelievable dude, u doing great. I am in the training for almost a month and I have a grinding problem lol my instructor lost his patience 😂

if you grind you're pulling too hard into gear, light steady pressure and pull to next gear as soon as you let off. If that's too hard, double clutch like you're supposed to.

Hello, I have a question, please: In the province of Ontario, there is a free school for teaching truck driving. Is there a school for free in the province of Alberta in Edmonton? Or is there any way to pay for school after getting a job?

Just wondering do you pull full or empty ? Is there a big difference between pulling with a big trailer ? I do have class 3 and i drive an 18 speed fuller 35ft long truck, and I'm thinking of getting class1 but not sure, without experience many company won't hire and the fewer that do pay slightly over poverty line

You pull empty when in driving school o its easy and yes of course there will be a difference and you’re right not many companies will hire with no experience in my case my dad is a trucker too so I just hopped in with his truck as soon as I got my class 1 to build my experience

@@DRodTrucking i used to make 100k working in concrete now I'm trying to do the same getting my class1 , which I'll start soon enough, right now I'm driving a boom truck and moffet truck 18 speed, so i know already how to drive.. I'm hoping that because of that it'll be easier for me, it's just backing up trailer that I'm not used it...

Lol lol that's how we wore our mask too! 🤣 This instructor sounds like he like to lose his patience. Good luck bro, looks like you are gonna turn out to he a great driver!

YukonGoatSlayer 😂 I didnt even notice I was wearing it that way and the instructor actually has good patience he hasnt had to yell or scream at me yet lol. Thanks!

@@DRodTrucking haha must just be his accent! I just finished my training. Saw your truck all the time. I trained around the corner from you at ETT. Melt is intense but worth it. I feel like it's really gonna give us a leg up in our first year while we are getting those first few thousand miles under our belt! I'm just waiting for my road test. Dang covid has it running slow. Make that guy take you downtown. There is so much construction down there right now that it makes for some great practical road lessons. Good luck bud!

@@MrTarzan14 I did pass! The road test is simple and quick. The actual driving part was only 20 minutes. I've been driving OTR in the US since September. I enjoy it! Best of luck to you! Have no fear!

Hi, have all the truck training schools opened in Alberta? If yes, what kind of precautions are they taking? Also, if you don’t mind me answering, how much did you pay for your license and what company did you use? Thanks.

Salman Butt i think so I’ve seen quite a few of them and the one that Im going to re opened 3rd week last month. Social distancing is still needed of course and masks and gloves are given when in class and training. I am training with Nanak Driving School the owners are from India and they are good. The fee is $8000

It’s pretty hard to get a good one out of school. But there pretty sure there are companies that would hire one. Im lucky Im employed by my dad

Pwede sir, pero pag automatic gamitin mo restricted ata license mo to drive automatic transmission only. pag manual transmission gamitin mo pwede kahit ano.

Kabayan plan ko din mag class 1 kakarating ko lng calgary ayussin ko lng class 5 ko, government funding b yan, p advise naman kabayan... salamat

Own money po ang gamit ko dito eh di po ako sigurado kung paano nagwwork yung thru government funding parang mas mabilis po ang process yata pagka own money pero pwede din po yata yun and yung ibang school pwde din financing options dito po ito sa edmonton still under training pa din po ako almost 2months na

they will never take you right away to high-traffic areas. I've done class 1 with them and they don't do that, they have to show you how to upshift and downshift first. also saying that this is your first time in cab is not true

Its all good not forcing you to believe it that was in time of pandemic we had to do all in class first then air brake and all on the road+backing up and yes its not true that its my first time in cab because I had been with my dad multiple times in his trips before so I definitely had little bit of experience with manual transmission which was a big advantage for me and they knew that because I went with my dad when I enrolled

this is NOT your first time shifting - impossible. maybe first day in class, but not the first time you shift a rig

Yes brother it says first day in cab training for class 1 melt And yes its not my first time shifting as my father is a trucker himself and has taught me how to do it already before going to school which was a great advantage for me
