5:01 now he looks like a little boy with his hair shorter :) When I first saw him in earlier videos I thought he was a girl until you referred to him as your boy :) it’s difficult to tell when they’re so young but with the longer hair I thought he’s a girl ha ha he’s a well behaved boy, he just sits and gets his haircut, no fussing around. It’s obvious that you love your children, it’s good to see.

That’s too bad that you can’t record and upload videos. I was enjoying watching them. I would want to know why you can’t do it. Are they concerned that you are operating the cameras while driving? I can understand that concern but you don’t drive and operate the cameras. They probably have to have the rules apply to everyone? I know 3 other truckers who create videos of their daily lives trucking but they’re all owner/operators so I guess they can do whatever they like with their own trucks.

Oh yeah there’s a lot of them making videos but yeah it’s okay I understand I pull dangerous goods so that’s really the big reason and for safety of course. I recorded all my videos handsfree and Mounted to dash

Try and talk to your company about it. Maybe you can both come to a mutual agreement. I'd never heard of Bassett Fuels before your videos so there is benefit to them by getting their name exposed to a wide audience. Maybe other drivers get interested and apply to work for them. Good video of alberta roads. Like this in 80’s, except we drove cars at first, than two wheel drive trucks, than the 4x4 truck to rig location. Muddy in April, somehow we never got stuck on the slime roads. I remember a guy driving and old VW bug, literally floated on top of the mud. Alberta Gumbo destroys vehicles. Our rigs burned 16,000 litres/day. Diesel was $0.20/litre. Bulk fuel trucks coming steady…..cheers.

what speed do you average when you're driving off road?

I would say maybe average 20kph. With the road like that with those deep ruts you dont wanna go too fast or too slow I wasnt even checking my speed I was just focusing on the road and feeling it so I can’t even remember a set speed I was going at. But when it’s dry and hard then you can go 60 to 80 or whatever speed limit they have there
