We just watched many of the Fallon/Bacon songs of this style and this one is by far the best. This one is funny, and the lyric is better than the others, but this one is a slamming musical performance and really exciting show. This one is fab, most of the others fall flat.

After the commercial break, Jimmy explained the premise was Brian Wilson got writer's block after the first line (which is from the real song). He couldn't get "hamburger stand" out of his head. Comedy gold!

No, the bridge on that one strat is a four-screw model with brass inserts that didn't come out until 1968, long after this song was released. Prior the bridges had been three screw with steel (or sometimes copper) inserts. Looks like the pickups might be later edition counter-clockwise wound instead of era-accurate alternating-wound types, too. Don't get me started on the inaccurate truss rod.

Kudos to the Drummer for playing snare with his right hand. Dennis Wilson was a self taught drummer, and played that way (most right handed drummers play the snare with their left hand). Also, bonus trivia here, Dennis Wilson was the only Beach Boy who could surf.

Well if you listened closely you could make out a verse about a hamburger stand. I had to listen to it multiple times to catch it. They mentioned it right after when they started the entire song. Again very difficult to catch. Hope this helped!

I don't know that its terrible that his humor isn't edgier because you have to figure out should the Tonight Show be risqué or something everyone can watch.
