I’ve had over 50 Datsun Zs in my time. I started from the worst 280s, then had a few 260s and finally climbed up to the 240s. This was awhile ago when you could still pick up a really nice, original paint car with an un-cracked dash for $6,000. I’ve had plenty of fun times with a 2.4, 2.6 and 2.8 blocks. To get 375HP / 385 TQ out of a Z block is pretty hard. So when I found this one I had to have it. I’ve had to do a lot of work on this car to get it where it is now, so in essence I didn’t kill it but rather save it. 😈

how'd he kill it? honestly, he revived it a beautiful car with a powerful engine, don't get me wrong stock it can be as powerful but this is more fun

At this point in time, putting a Chevy engine in a 50 year old car is a terrible idea from all aspects. Imagine if this beautiful example had a 3L stroker with Itb’s with trumpets!! The sound, look, originality and yes, power would be 🔥❤️

I agree with you bro. The straight inline-six has such a beautiful sound. Better than the V8, in my opinion. But did he really kill it? The V8 is very nice as well. It's a matter of taste. You and me both prefer the straight inline-six.
