Update on this car. The car is happily enjoying a great summer in the PNW. Have updated a few things that have made the car different. I added the following: GT350 wheels/Tires, Steeda Adjustable shocks and dual rate competition springs, steed a IRS bushing/lockout kit. Steeda K brace. 50th anniversary Black Brembo front Brakes/rotors Leather premium front seats and window tint. This car is a total blast to drive it has 4634 mi, I'm into it for $47k with add-ons. Whipple has sent me 2 upgrades on the tune. Josh has given me excellent customer service. The car has been flawless. I am happy with the current performance with the warranty. I am enrolling in a local driving school that teaches you in your own vehicle.. Did a 0-60 in 3.8 just goofing around. Have a kindle and blue tooth Dongle, downloaded Torque so watch all the functions and can data log. The best $32 I've spent. I am extraordinarily happy with the car. I work on the car with a local mechanic. If you have one of these whipple supercharged cars I have fabbed up oil catch cans for both the passenger and driversside. These are discreetly mounted and are clear so you can see exactly how much oil it uses. It seems like quite a bit, 3-5 ml after 25-100 miles after spirited driving. They will be available shipped for $210. Pictures to follow.. Couldnt take the ugly and expensive catchcans. Rock on Josh, Chandler and Hannah at Lebanon Ford. Have you guys compared these Whipple's to Paxton's NOVI 2200SL supercharger? I heard those things were producing the highest numbers...but you can't always believe what you read. I'm trying to figure out the best option for me. I've already got my 18 Premium GT so I have to add the charger separate and I'm currently researching my options. At 7:18 you're a brave man. I wouldn't be smashing this thing on street tires. You could've easily lost it and went right into that telephone pole. This car is begging for drag radials. Excellent display of the whipple power on the gen3s either way.

Now I’m sad! I own a 2017 Roush from this dealership (Lightning Blue) but I have the 670 HP. Now I want this 800 but honestly I love the quietness of the Roush. Real sleeper. And yes the price is true and YES I’m from out of state!

Update on the car..The car is running great. It has 11k miles. Upgraded steeda Suspension. No problems. Oil change every 5 K. Throughly warm it up before you peddle it. Very happy...

Whipples ROCK!

I've had a few Whipples and Roush units. The Roush units underperform while the Whipples over perform. Even a few friends that were Roush guys are now Whipples and much happier. I also noticed this is a base car, no drive modes, no active exhaust. Which gears did you get in it? And I sure hope you upgraded the rear halfshafts, the weak link in many rwd platforms when adding more than an extra 100-200 hp and tq.

I have a few questions,what is the cost of the whipple setup with larger throttle body,do you still have a full bumper to bumper warranty like a hellcat or demon has with an extended warranty option? How do you only spend 40 k when a 2018 5.0 10 speed equipped close to a hellcat trim level is over 50k before the whipplecharger and install.

You mentioned that the car could easily push 900hp on a custom tune. How much hp can the stock block and powertrain take before you have to upgrade internals and drivetrain components?

How much are these with a 400A package?

Do you feel that the transmission can handle all this power effectively? I don’t know if Ford designed it with enthusiast modding their cars in mind but 800 HP has to be quite a handful for this car. I never owned a high performance vehicle so I’m not to knowledgeable on transmission and how they hand different power outputs but I’m curious if you can consistently thrash this thing and not have to worry about things breaking. Also don’t superchargers improve fuel economy if you aren’t on it all the time?
