In this short video about Aktau, we will know what is the largest lake in the world, how Aktau became Oil&Gas producer, and what is so famous in Aktau.

I just came across this video because I'm thinking on perhaps travel there and hopefully live there, right now I'm living in Venezuela and well is sad to say it because I love my country but there's no real future for me here, and maybe traveling to Aktau to meet some friends and have a new experience in life, can also open new opportunities for me, thank you for this video.

Correction : There are buses that go to the aktau city , as of april 2024 it only costs 100 tenge as opposed to the cost of taxi its very cheap .

It looks beautiful. I was working in Atyrau for a few years and enjoyed it. But the city itself leaves a lot to be desired haha. This on the other hand looks wonderful. Hopefully will be based there by the end of the year!

Atyrau is currently developing and I see that many projects are still in progress and hope it’ll make city more friendlier. Btw, I am working on the new project on ecotourism in Atyrau region, so I hope new tourist destinations will arise.

Добрый день! Супер, в августе и на море поплаваете, и арбуза вдоволь наедитесь. Пещера находится в 4 микрорайоне, за отелем Caspian Riviera. Исторические места находятся там же, прям около пещер. Советую заняться водными видами спорта, это становится очень популярно в Актау. Места посмотреть не в видео: - подземная мечеть Бекет Ата, около 3х часов от Актау - 43 км от Актау, есть красивое место где можно поплавать - Тамшалы - Шеркала - музей в Форт Шевченко - Торыш Если возникнут больше вопросов, задавайте :)

Hello! Right now, the real estate is a bit higher than the last year due to some changes in law, however the real estate is way cheaper than in almaty. Winter is warm, but windy. We don’t have snow, a good place to be during winter.

Hi, yes it’s good to visit Aktau in March. It’s going to be still cool, around 10-12 C degrees. Better to visit around June-July.

To experience more locally, you can try taking train. It takes 3 nights to reach Aktau 😂 or there’s new budget airline in Kazakhstan - ArystanAir. You can check them out. I think the prices shouldn’t be much

Yup! You can travel to Aktau from Almaty by train but it take 4 days 3 nights to reach. You can travel from Astana by train, and it’s 2 days.

It looks really nice during summer. Unfortunately, the soil in Aktau is not really good for growing real palms. Hope you’ll visit Aktau soon.

They're very nice looking fakes, and pretty realistic. They give the place a subtropical Mediterranean ambience. BTW I don't think the soil is the problem. The problem is the cold temperatures in winter - the average temperature is around 0C for 3 months of the year which is enough to kill even the most hardly palm species e.g. Trachycarpus Fortunei.
