FIRST ICE 2022/23 Stocked Trout Slay Day!!!!!!

Жыл бұрынSome of the best fishing you can have is early ice fishing. One week after going steelhead fishing it got cold fast and some of the small stocked trout lakes froze over. There was 3-5 inches on the first lake we went to and 4.5 inches on the second lake, of perfect clear ice. Was one of the days I won't soon forget.

I'm hoping to make lots of videos this year got some big plans for some trips. hoping for some ice camping to. they just look so good in the water trout can't resist them.

I'm from Vancouver Island but I want to go and ice fish. I wonder what kind of vehicle I would need to reach lakes like that. It seems like a 4x4 is almost required, but maybe there are some lakes you can reach without one...?? The information is scarce

your best bet is to try and talk with local ice fishermen in your area they would have good info for lakes that can be reached without having to 4x4 in. also anglersatlas.com has some good info on it. there's also a ice fishing BC Facebook page that be very helpful
