And it matches my Scorpion Yukon Riding gear perfectly. Black with some gray, and some yellow pinstriping on zippers. Yep, one of these will be between my legs soon

From KTM Duke 790??? you are probably wrong, this is similar design as the CP7 engine from the yamaha T7/MT07
@ShinzouWoSateSateSate4 ай бұрын
It's not derived from the KTM 790 engine because that one has 285° crankshaft.
@JohnSpeedShift4 ай бұрын
@@ShinzouWoSateSateSate Yes, its adjusted, and still derived from it. Derived doesn't mean replicated to 100% exact specs. Take a look at the engine crankcase, even the bolt placements, also coincidentally how the heck did CF Moto come up with and engine that fast esp without that much experience. Oh and the 800MT also coincidentally showed up when KTM partnered with CF Moto to manufacture their bigger bikes.

Have you ridden a Yamaha Teneree 700? How does this bike compare?

The ergos are better suited to most Asians who aren’t especially tall; T7 favors taller riders over 5’8”. But it does feel top heavy compared to the 450MT. You need to make time to set the suspension correctly on the 450MT, where the default setting is on the stiff side. The stock, non adjustable fork on the T7 feels cushy.

What parallel twins are lighter than this then ? And £5600 in UK otr bargain, the £33000 KTM rally bike is 160kg nobody will be making anything.much lighter , this also has a better center if gravity, due to lower barrels and head, making it easier to ride , I have a 790 adventure and it's heavier

Thanks for this. We didn’t have a scale around when we had this for the day, so I had to trust the spec sheet on that one.

Not really. These are 2 different bikes in same category. Some prefer simple, some prefer more tech. This actually is going to hurt the T7 more cuz its cheaper, lighter and better suspension.
