Sikhs and Punjab are the best. Happy, welcoming, conversational, great food, service to humanity, free Gurudwara Langars, self-sufficient hardworking, God loving people. Sikh people are a great community to live near or in at any part of globe!

I'm from Punjab, and I'm a Sikh. But honestly, over the past few decades, Punjab has just turned into a kind of poor second-class state in India. It used to be so much better than what it has become today

I am punjabi hindu and let me tell you reality of Sikhs and punjab, both has lost shine what they used to have in past, nowadays many sikhs forgot sikhi and harassing girls of neighbouring states like himachal and punjabi is also a poor state now. I am proud punjabi but accept reality

I'm absolutely blown away by the kindness of the people you've encountered. Not that I expected people to be mean or anything, but I assumed the language barrier would naturally stop people from approaching or introducing themselves. So many strangers waved & smiled and even the ones who didn't looked curious, rather than annoyed or put off - This was a beautiful video from beginning to end and I'm so glad you shared this experience with us! @@harshitchoudhary2970 Question to yourself. Is there any difference between each state? Do people eat differently, do they speak different languages, do they have their own cultures. Punjab is in both India and Pakistan. The culture is unique, as it is different in South India.

Amritsar is the food capital of Punjab, specially non veg food, second best thing after golden temple in Amritsar is local Amritsari cuisine, go around new and old town and enjoy the food as much as you can. Good luck with your travel

Yes you get the best paranthas in Punjab! A mallu who was in Punjab for 5 years for studies..do visit the Golden Temple,Chandigarh city..then Manali,Dharamshala,Shimla..beautiful places.. best time to go to Manali,Shimla is during the winters though..

Maharaja Ranjit Singh was the king of the Sikh Country/Empire ttat ranged feom modern Afghanistan to Delhi, north to Tibet birder and South to Rajhastan. Sikhs had their own country 3 times in history since it's inception (Banda Singh Empire, Sikh Misls Empire and Ranjit Singh Empire).
