All banks in Thailand charge 220baht at ATM for foreign cards, it’s a standard charge not a commission. The bank rate will vary from any transfer app you use, I use XE to give me a rough idea of what the exchange rate is. Also the rate can vary on the ATM location I’ve found, i.e using a machine at a convenience store as opposed to outside an actual bank. Also the apps are updating continuously whereas the bank will set a rate for a period of time. Sadly it’s the cost of travelling. I live in Hua Hin, have a Thai bank account but actually get charged for using another bank ATM and charged at my own bank if using their ATM outside of HuaHin should I use it in Bangkok for example. Apart from the exchange rate, glad that you’re enjoying Hua Hin

Thankyou John, i am enjoying it here. I feel the expats here aee the friendliest ive come across in Thailand. I know the banks charge a 220 bht commission, but compared to google currency. Wheather i take out 5 or 10k it feels like my bank is charged an extra 1000bht that is un counted for. I will try seven eleven thanks, thand thanks for watching

I had a lovely time in Whooa Hin. Did I say 10 mil. I had just come from Bali, I was still thinking Indonesian Rupees. (10 million IDR is about £250.)

Great question and hard to anser. I would have to say Thailand, but not for the reason you may think. I found it hard to make friends in Bali, so found it lonely at times. I found the expats in Thailand probably coinsidently more friendly. And i know no matter how beautuful the scene, it must be shared to reep the full joy from it. For the culture, id say Bali For the Food Thailand For the people by a margin Bali wins For the nightlife Thailand For the scenery Bali For the cost of living Thailand

I love this area and the condo i was it. It was just perfect for me. All the amenities ar hand and town just a dhort bike ride away

How are the drivers in Hua Hin? As crazy as hear everywhere else is in Thailand?

Honestly No! It isnt, nothing like the caose of bangkok or changmai, more chilled than Pataya traffic and has so very good roads , better than Phuket and Ko Samui. There is a little conjestion when the barriars are down for a passing train. But other than that. I would say are so of the nicest, easiest and organised roads in Thailand. Saying all that, Hau Hin is pretty much scustered aroubd one dual carrage way with a few off roads. So 90% of the time you are on good tarmac
