This has been the most difficult week of my life. I stayed with my Dad in the ICU as he left this world and went to Heaven. I know we posted that we weren't going to release a video this week, but like my Dad taught me, it may not be easy, but life must go on. This was a difficult job, emotionally, but I believe Dad was there with me, coaching me, guiding me, watching over me. My dad was taken to be with God on 11/9/2021. This video was filmed, edited, and produced on 11/11/2021. This video will be released on 11/12/2021 and we will lay my Dad to his eternal rest on 11/13/2021. The outpouring of support from my viewers has been overwhelming. Even though this job and this video were difficult to make, I believe I needed to do both as part of my grieving and healing process. A very special thank you to all my viewers, family, and friends who having taking the time to show their support. May God bless and protect you all!! www.paypal.me/...

Ron there is no need to apologize for the loss of you father, it is a tough time for anyone to lose a loved one. I'm pretty sure most of us who watch your channel know the pain you are going through. My condolences to you and your family, and I am terribly sorry for your loss. Stay strong and keep your head up. May God bless you and guide you home safely everyday.

My deepest heart-felt prayers to you, Ron on the passing of your dad. It is VERY difficult to lose you father, probably the most difficult when you work so closely with him. I lost my dad in 1979, who also happened to be a mechanic and had two tow trucks, a gas station with service garage. You are very blessed to know you will see him again one day. The pain here will lessen, but will be felt in your heart for a long while. The peace that God places at our feet helps each day to provide strength to carry on with life here, and knowing that your dad is face to face with his Lord and Savior. Praise His Holy Name for the Salvation He provides us here on earth. I am praying for you and your family for strength and healing as the days pass by. May God give you the strength to do what you need to do here both in your daily work, and your testimony of your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

At 8:38, where’s Ron’s just opening the control panel, he says “we can do this” twice. You can hear the emotion in his voice. Then at 33:48, he says quietly after seeing bald eagles: “um...all right, pull yourself together Ron”. Another touching moment. My sympathies to the family on this loss. Let’s just hope there’s no wrecks in his service area on Saturday when the services are, and that others will pitch in to give a tow truck escort if desired.

I am so sorry to hear this, Ron. Back in March, 2018 I came on here and vented about losing my mom at the time, and you replied with sound advice for dealing with the pain, and offered many words of encouragement, for which I'll be forever grateful. I remember you said, "It's ok to grieve, but don't let it consume you." Excellent advice - you are a wise man. I personally think jumping right back to work is the best thing you can do to keep your mind occupied - doesn't mean you forget about your dad, but that you concentrate on the day to day, and later, when home your with family, you can continue grieving. As I have learned, time is a healer, and faith in God is also a gigantic help. You know full well your dad will walk beside you the rest of your life, and you also know full well where he went, so take comfort in that. You've been such a blessing to all of us fans that I don't think words can convey that. Hopefully our collective support will get you through this tough time. We love you, brother! Stay strong, hug your kids and your wife, and continue on the Right path of devotion to the King of all kings. God will guide you through. May God continue to bless you and your family, and protect you all, and guide you through this difficult time. And THANK YOU, Ron, for being an inspiration to all of us!!

This first job you're doing, just carefully pulling someone out of a hole is just as important to that driver as getting a truck that's balanced on the edge of a bridge off safely! Dear Ron, I love this poem. I found it years ago when my dad died and it brought me comfort. He is Gone by David Harkins You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all he's left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him only that he is gone, or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back. Or you can do what he'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. ❤️

I’m sorry to hear about your father. You’ll see him soon in heaven. Think about it this way, when you lose someone you love, you’re on a “vacation” away from them, and when you die your vacation ends and you join them in heaven for a even better eternal vacation. That’s how I cope with the loss of my great grandmother (I’m still young). I don’t know if that made sense, but much love and God bless!

Ron, just remember tears are a way of releasing stress and pain. If you didn’t show emotion we would worry more. Tears are part of the cleansing process. You showed great poise. Using the white line to anchor the boom and prevent shock loading the boom shows your understanding of potential problems. The guy was helpful, and he knew some about rigging, probably part of being a flat bed driver. That guy would have been better off with two trailers in a B-train, but he made it work with your help.

i know this is 3 months old but i lost someone close to me overnight. she was my uncles dog but i treated and loved her as my own, i have her everywhere i look to remind me that she is still here in spirit and would want me to continue on with life and live it to the fullest. it wasnt easy by and record when she passed but she would not want me to grieve over he passing and would want me to move on. i stll shed a tear every now and then for her in the tough times and she helps me get through it. hope this helps and all of us are here for you. live long and god bless.

Ron and family, you and yours are in my prayers for strength, peace, and heavenly joy. My dad departed 31 years ago, when I was 40 years old, and even though time helps, there will always be times when missing them is very raw. I loved watching your dad when he was on the videos. These will become very sweet memories and it is all right and healing to laugh at funny situations. His advice and teachings will always be with you as you feel his spirit near. Our Heavenly Father loves you and Holy Spirit is our Comfort. The three in one God will never forsake you. May you find comfort in His Love. Keep doing what you do best and make your dad proud as you always have. Love from Alabama.

Oh Brother! I can hear it in your voice immediately. You don’t need to apologize to any of us. I know I’m a year late here, but I feel for you. I lost my dad at the end of 2021. He was suffering from dementia, injuries from Nam and ranching, and Agent Orange. Love you Brother. Your videos have helped me dealing with ptsd, anxiety, and panic attacks. I’ve said this many times on your videos, but I have the utmost respect for you, your family, and your crew. It’s the beginning of 2023 right now, and I pray for blessings for all of you.

Hello Ron and family. I'm over 70 and have had to bury both parents and my wife. Several billion people on the planet and we all grieve differently so I'm not going to offer words about HOW to do things. What I will tell you is something that helped me through the aftermath of my wife's death. I truly believe that in these circumstances we can do no wrong. What we do, how we go about things is the right way to do them. It does not matter if there was a different way, what we choose to do is the right and proper thing to do. We can do no wrong in these matters. My Condolences. Requiescat in Pace. Go with God. Robert.

You have a massive comfort in your corner in knowing that he's now resting peacefully with our Father in his eternal home. I can't imagine the grief that many must feel that don't have that promise and knowledge of heaven and our heavenly Father. Much prayers to you and your loving family brother Ron. Yes, I also remember that video with his great grandson. That’s one advantage of technology these days in that not only are there photographs of people and family who have since passed but video of them as well. And to gorillaau, yes it’s okay! I miss my dad who died when I was only eight, and unfortunately lost all memories of him shortly thereafter. He had ALS so was bedridden for some time before. I am now the only surviving member of family so don’t have anyone to ask about things.

As the other viewers said, Mr Pratt, there is no need to apologize. Your father left here knowing that you love him and you heed to his teachings. He also left here seeing his son become an hard working adult. Those are the best gifts a father's son can give their father just by simply living a good clean fruitful life.
