For example in Germany when there is a part of an Autobahn without a speed limit it needs to be the right condition. If the road isnt right or there might be a chance of danger, it gets a speed limit.

EtienneTestet If it had happened in Germany the insurance company reserves the right to deny pay if the accident happened above 130kph. Then you must prove that the crash would have happened below 130kph as well

But only parts of it. There was a case where a driver was ordered to pay 30% of the damage himself because he was going 200 instead of the recommended 130 at which speed no crash would have occured. He went to court and a judge decided that 20% was more appropriate. So even though he went 200 the other driver's insurance still covered 80% of the damage.
