It’s nice to know there’s at least one beat of glue keeping that wall attached to the ground😂

Bro it's concrete, it doesn't need to be anchored with that much weight on it. My biggest issue is how the walls always have huge cracks form in them immediately after drying
@jtcoker26843 күн бұрын
No j bolts or anchors in the concrete, no rebar in the wall, little bead of silicone under the wall to make waterproof I guess. ? Looks like it could be a disaster. I’m sure it has many wonderful uses but I don’t think I want a printed house. That chit just sitting there with no anchors

I love this technology and I see it being used a lot in the near future. How effective is that tiny bead of what I would guess is some sort of Liquid Nails? Is it necessary? Can the bead be thicker to provide more adhesive?

Should there not be some type of rebar connecting the foundation to the first few layers ? How does this hold up

I don’t like those right angles.
@truthaus68408 күн бұрын
Robot vs robot, straight lines, 90 degree angles, brick layer wins. Curved or texture walls is where this tech will prosper. Using the curves to add strength and aesthetics. Eg a house built like the base/stump of a large tree. A house like a shoe? Walls with inbuilt planter box, or slots for pots. A small house, where the kitchen table base, seats base, cupboards, bed base, internal walls, root cellar, water capture/storage, everything complete, ready to add panel doors and enjoy the structure with minimal additional costs.

Epoxy holding my house to the foundation? No thanks
@Redlaw9 күн бұрын
@septenaryshrub2587 No, the epoxy is just to make sure it adheres better to the base. The cement will adhere past it in theory and be a solid concrete like first layer
