I honestly hope this obvious remake will have the success it deserve (despite one console being forgotten in the physical version department) because I want Dead Rising 2 (both "Off the Record" and the original one) to get the same modern treatment.

I think the character models look off. They tried to make them like characatures it seems like exagerating features but that doesmt make a whole lot of sense considering the original was fairly realistic. Like yeah there was comedy but if you wamted a serious game it could be that or if you want to play with a horse mask on u can also

I don’t really mind the voice change, and while it’s not the biggest deal, his face looks a little strange, though the new gameplay showed it’s not as bad as I originally thought.

Kinda hope this is the fresh start the series needs. Get back to the basics and release a game everyone will love and then we can get back to the craziness of later DR games. But we need to make sure to understand where games like DR4 went wrong and try to not make those same mistakes. Hopefully the next DR game will be like DR2 but with DR3 and 4’s scope.

My childhood game so many good memories. i played it the other day on pc and was surprised it still holds up i mean shooting and other stuff is really janky but the graphics are decent still, i like how they have the same exact 4 zombie models instead of giving us variety😂. Also i hope we don’t have loading screen every section of the mall like in the old game it would be cool if we can just walk the whole mall and fame with no loading screens

The game is maybe unavailable physically for XBOX (which sucks a lot for me, I use XBOX more than PlayStation) but the game is available physically on PS5 for pre-order in Japanese and Asia version. However, I wouldn't recommand pre-ordering the Japanese version since it will probably be censored.

Why have they made so many of the female npcs so ugly and hairstyles so bad…not very y2k or alike to the original at all… Kay looks about 40 now and they’ve also changed Cheryl’s dress it’s a halter knitted dress now. Thought her dress was supposed to be provocative for her photograph mission and stuff….
