@@kashyap263 That‘s just wrong. Yes, the level 3 where the driver has 0 liability only works in limited situations, the normal level 2 one works perfectly in pretty much all situations and every level 3 car has the level 2 too and it depends on the situation which one is used. In general it works much more smoothly than any other driver‘s assistancr on the market and has much less failures than for example the Teslas. And that‘s Mercedes level 2 I Talk about. Level 3 is even much better, but very limited (mostly due to legal stuff and laws) at the moment that‘s true. But there you must keep in mind they are the only company even offering it. No one else has it

Nah, ur pretty much completely wrong there mate. "Bis wann wisst ob wir denn fahren können?" translates to "Do you know till when we can drive." Meaning that they only had a limit amount of time on the parking-lot, considering that it was prbly blocked off for others.

@@xauron9113 Nah, youre pretty much completly wrong there mate. Because the original comment is actually pretty right about that except for "den" instead of "denn". He isnt asking for how much longer they are allowed to drive. As they are waiting the mercedes guy is asking about when they are allowed to do the "intersection drive away assist" test. They have to ready up these demo situations first thats why he asked how much longer it would take until they were allowed to do the test.

Actually called super screen in the e class because the drivers part of the display is not part of that big panel

Mercedes new strategie is to only build premium cars. They won‘t build the a and b class in the future ( 2025 will be the last production year of these cheaper cars). So their new line up will start with the c-class which costs already 80K; and customers expect these new technology in a expensive car. But nowadays there is a bigger market for expensive premium cars, than a few years ago where you could get a new Mercedes for 40K.

@@vladislavdimitrov4646 Auto headlights, rain sensing wipers, it lets you know that your running out of wiper fluid. I can wind down the windows with the key. Electric boot lever, electric seats. The list goes on:

@@lucaswasiak8569 In terms of technology the thing that actually suits that category are the rain sensing wipers. The other things are pretty standard optional extras for an entry level luxury car even back then.

In most cases when I am in the traffic and have friends in the car with me, I tend to be distracted and endup bumping into a car in front of me, that active breaking assist would help me. But if i get used to it, it will be a hustle to use another car which doesn’t have it.

you need to check out the new toyota highlander! not any highlander, the new edition to toyotas suvs, called the grand highlander! its a bigger, more beautiful, safer, luxury suv with they said a 3rd row that can fit adults! trust me, you will LOVE it after!

When I worked at a mercedes dealership customers would freak out that the shiny plastic was already scratched before they picked up the car. We had to develop a process to polish the interior because the factory would send the whole car scuffed up. It was the worst dealership, worse than Honda.

That new CEO is not it. He's pushing cost cutting too much. They're cutting the A Class and the cars that's based on that platform. Also, the new C Class uses far too much hard plastic on the lower half of the doors and dash whereas previous models were soft touch.

Your critique is correct. But they will actually keep the CLA and it will share platform with the C class platform in the future which is great.

@@timonxDlol So the CLA will end up costing more than a C Class anyway. There's no more models for young professionals to aspire to then since everything starting from a C Class is too costly. Young professionals will go to Audi and BMW and once they're in the brand, will eventually go on to their larger and more luxurious models. Mercedes is cutting out an entire market purely for profitability. And he says the A Class segments aren't profitable yet the A Class sedan can cost as much as a C Class. So how are they not making a profit off a cheaper platform then? I'm so over this brand to be honest. Dieter Zetsche needs to come back.

You’re correct: A Class super cheap interior- I had one: endless rattles. And yes: new C Class also cheap- the C220d I owned exhibited the same rattles and endless squeaks. And software issues- the ABS module failed within 10 days of taking ownership from new!! The car was inoperable for a month waiting for a part. Unfortunately chasing sales is resulting in cost cutting across all products : my opinion.

@@djplonghead5403 It does. It's evasive steering ASSIST. It requires the driver to jerk the wheel which prompts the system to then correct. Most of the time, with evasive maneuvers, people over correct and end up spinning out and doing too much steering input. Evasive steering ASSIST prevents that.

Mostly the drivers are the engineers of the car, so they know everything about the technology and how it works. And all Mercedes cars get developed in germany, so it makes more sense to bring an expert from germany than a salesman from the us, who drives the car for the first time.

Because it an ASSIST. To activate the system you jolt the wheel. In these situations most people over correct or don't correct enough and either spin out or hit the object. Legally the car isn't allowed to initiate the evasive maneuver but the system therefore assists the driver to not spin out by over correcting or to not hit the object by steering too little.
