In 1994, I sang Amazing Grace to my dying friend and as I sang the last line of the third verse “and Grace will leave me home”, she took her last breath and went home. Dan Vasc is a really amazing singer and person in general! He performed a cover of Elvis' "Love Me Tender" some time ago and dedicated it to a nice couple dealing with a coming hardship. This guy had the tears just streaming down my face when I heard that for the first time. I listened again, about a half dozen times and each time I got more emotional than before. I haven't heard this in a while now, so it's got me again. Never, ever, have I heard this great, grand, old, hymn done like this, but in my humble opinion, he MORE, than does it justice.
