What turns me off is that the digital screen/pad is not on the machine and it feels that it is a third party after market gadget.

What is the cost for the machine & for the wood kit? I know this is way different than the Rocket Nine, but what would you recommend and why? Yesterday copper boilers are better for stability, but S.S is better for corrosion resistance. Why doesn’t Rocket go to S.S.?so many suppliers of premium espresso machines have gone to S.DS. With S.S. Tubing, but not Rocket. Please explain. Thanks

Hello Michael, both the machine and the wood kit can be viewed on our website at the following link: www.espressocoffeeshop.com/brands/rocket/rocket-coffee-machines/Rocket-R-cinquantotto, www.espressocoffeeshop.com/brands/Wiedemann-Manufaktur/Wiedemann-Manufaktur-Handle-Sets-Rocket. The R58 and R Nine One are 2 completely different machines and they just can't be compared in our opinion, the R Nine One is a much more complex machine and gives you an incredible amount of freedom in terms of personalization due to the pressure profiles system. The R58 is a much more "simpler" machine, but by no means the espresso quality is inferior. Regarding the ss boilers, I guess it is a company decision to keep the copper boilers, they do have the R60V with stainless steel boilers and they might want to differenciate the 2 products, but this is just us guessing, we should ask Rocket themselves to have an exact answer.
